I think I can get on this train

Thoughts? Just not completely sold on Tua.

Lawrence is regarded as the best quarterback prospect ever by Mike Farrell of Rivals, who said the following: "He’s the most special quarterback prospect I’ve seen in all my years at Rivals. Josh Rosen used to hold that title until Lawrence came along but I’ve never seen someone with his combination of size, arm strength, accuracy, field vision, mobility and all the intangibles needed to be great. (...) There have been some amazing talents I’ve seen at Rivals over the years with different skill sets from Vince Young to Matthew Stafford and more, including Rosen, but Lawrence is a different category. Every time I see him, he reminds me of Peyton Manning, except he’s more athletic with a better arm. I know that’s heady and ridiculous stuff, and people who know me know I don’t say stuff like that often, but this kid is special. The comparisons are accurate."[

Josh Rosen was the best quarterback prospect of all time before Rosen? Well then.....there's no way Lawrence isn't going to be the greatest QB of all time.

Holy cow, that’s the biggest load of garbage I’ve ever read. Stopped reading after “He’s the most special quarterback prospect I’ve seen in all my years at Rivals. Josh Rosen used to hold that title until Lawrence came along”

You need to watch his 3 games this year. He hasn‘t shown anything worth writing home about, he’s even dropped down the Heisman candidate list behind Hurts.

Agree, while I believe he’s a very good prospect, I haven’t seen anything remarkable yet this season. I have been keeping an eye on Lawrence, Tua, and some Fromm.

You know that you can easily build the o-line with getting Tua...

Deiter is already here...

Sign Scherff and Conkiln

Draft Weirfs and Humphry

Use round two top pick for a WR that falls.

You have both guard, your two tackles and you Center leader.

Most of the evaluators you see out there just aren't very flexible. They have their opinion of what a quarterback should look like, how a quarterback should play the game, and that's it.

They give no heed to the fact that many quarterbacks, sized and shaped many ways, with widely disparate and unique skill sets, all end up getting to about the same place. In fact, they often create their own universe with its own reality, tailor-made to perpetuate their system of universal laws.

I appreciate the evaluators that acknowledge the reality that special quarterback ability and production comes in a multitude of forms. In those people, you will not see a direct line drawn between Josh Rosen as the most special prospect you've seen, until Trevor Lawrence. You just won't. The person that draws that direct line between two points...is IMO biased toward a certain look.
