Odds are better than not Branden Albert plays Sunday against the Ravens.

Dolphins are expecting OL Laremy Tunsil back Sunday at Baltimore. Were hopeful last week and it didn't work out. Better chance this week.

Meanwhile, Dolphins' Albert non-committal about Baltimore game Sunday but is very, very much wanting to play.

NEED these guys. Then NEED them and Pouncey to be ready to roll for those last 3 weeks.

I very much would want to play too. I'm not holding my breath on BA playing which sucks.

Ozzy rules!!

I think the team was smart to wait on Tunsil. Get these guys healthy for the stretch run. Was pretty pleased with the pass blocking against the 49ers and the big game Tannehill delivered.

But, the offensive line needs to be healthy for Miami to have a playoff run. That running game needs to emerge big time.

Baltimore and Miami's defense are actually quite similar. Baltimore's run defense allows 58 less yards per game but that is the only spot where they hold a clear advantage over Miami. I imagine they'll stack the box and dare Tannehill to beat them through the air.

Yesterday they had 1 TD and 4 FGs vs. Cincy. Dalton was able to throw for 283 yards even with A.J. Green. He did lose 2 fumbles though and Baltimore's DL scares me. Tunsil and Albert are needed for sure. Without them I give the Ravens the edge.

It will take time. But we have finally arrived to a point where the only injury update that needs monitoring is Gase. If he's out, then we should worry.

Let's not commit the same mistake with Gase that has been propagated on Tannehill. Let's appreciate what we have right now.

The magic he has worked, winning while enduring injuries to key personnel weak after weak, is something we've not experienced in the last decade... maybe two.

I'm going to have to side with Baltimore as having a better defense

Baltimore has the #1 rushing defense in the NFL we're 30th
Baltimore has the #6 passing defense in yards we're #10
Baltimore has the #2 total defense in yards allowed we're #20
Baltimore has the 4th best defense in points allowed we're #16

IMO, this is going to be a coach's game. Game-planning, schemes, mismatches. I HOPE none of those silly bubbles and no dropping Wake back on 4th and forever. Coach the game and coach it aggressively.

There's quite a few teams during this win streak that had "better defenses" than we did. The Steelers, the Bills, the Jets, the Rams. We beat 'em all. No reason we can't do it again.

IMHO the two biggest differences, and why I agree that the Baltimore defense is on a different level than ours, are run defense and consistency.

I'm a big fan of VJ as a coach, but he is still figuring things out. Sometimes he locks offenses down. And other times it takes him a while to figure out how to adjust. So we are not a consistent defense IMHO.

Baltimore is always tough. We are hit and miss.

Baltimore shuts down the run and makes you pass, then goes after your QB.

We have some individuals performers that can have great games, but only Wake and Suh are consistently great.

Our run defense is not good. We cannot stop running teams like Tennessee. We have to stack the box to stop the run against average teams like Cincinnati. And we cannot defend running QB teams like San Francisco.

Sure, we stuffed Seattle in game 1, but New England made our run D look foolish. It's really hard to stop the pass if you need 8 in the box at all times to defend the run.

So that is where Baltimore scares me. They stop the run. They have a good pass rush. They will likely be able to run because that is our defensive weakness. We are a good match up for them.

We're on the road so we need help from our St's for FP. We need no mistakes or dumb penalties. If the ravens beat us then fine but lets not beat ourselfs
