What are you guys watching?

The line I'm watching has done a pretty good job so far. The missed blitzes aren't their responsibility. You don't see any plays where a lineman is standing around blocking air.

The Bears are stacking 8 and overloading the rushing lanes, and they are blitzing on every play. That's going to be the game plan against the Dolphins until they show they can hurt a team that blitzes them.

AJ has to do a better job of getting rid of the ball when he steps up into the pocket. The running backs have to do a better job of sliding their protection towards the blitz.

I think the blitz pickups will get better as the unit works together. The lack of any holes for the running game is all too familar, though.

to be honest Im more concerned about the defense as a whole than the offense as a whole.

Our skill position players will be good enough to get us some points this year. I just wonder if we will be in shoot-outs all year (no not just basing this on tonight but having a new secondary and we couldn't stop the run last year)

It is tough to run against a stacked box anyway. On every running play I've seen, the linemen have their man blocked, but the extra guy is the one that is making the stop. The Dolphins have to prove they can hurt teams down the field to keep guys like Mike Brown out of the box.

You also have to take into account that Miami isn't running hardly any lead plays with the fullback. Using the fullback as a lead blocker would do a lot to put a hat on that extra man. I'd say that Miami has been in the single back set 8 out of every 10 plays tonight. I'm going to give the Bears some credit as well. They are tackling very well tonight.
