I have read post saying that this guy might replace Mare, but I'm not to impressed with what I've seen so far.

He seems to only be able to kickoff to about the 20yard line, and is 1/2 field goals and kicked off one out of bounds.

Does anyone know more about him?

If we do let Mare go, Kimrin will not be his replacement. He had a chance in 2004 with the Skins and he failed.

I am watching him right now and the only thing he did wrong was make the kick out of bounds. That 50 yard try was only a yard short and he hit that 42 yarder pretty accurate.

I dont think he is a serious threat to make the team; but as he is playing in NFL Europe he will get a roster exemption in camp and therefore he can carry balls and get cups of water right up to the start of the regular season:)

Interesting. I was thinking that maybe he was signed to be a kickoff kicker. I was under the assumption that since we may be signing Vanderjagt(sp?) that they would have another kicker on the roster for kickoffs, but from what you say about the strength of his leg then maybe not.

I don't think were serious about signing Vanderjagt since we are asking Mare to restructure his 1.4 million per yr, and Vanderjagt is asking for 2million + atleast 3 million signing bonus.

i think if olindo is released or traded or whatever...i think the replacement that has been talked about is nick novak. i read it somewhere, cant remember. The guy seems to know his special teamers since he got rid of turk and got us jones who was a pro bowl alternate. denney replaced perry last year and did great minus one or two snaps.

Nick has said we will likely carry four qb's...that makes it very unlikely we will carry two kickers.
