We all know JT is out there and it is a great possibilty, but Greg Ellis rumors are also showing up of him possibly being released after Dallas just drafted two outside LB. Travis Laboy just got released and could be a gamble. Boys and girls things are getting real interesting and you got love the potential moves Miami could make to fill the OLB spot.

Sounds like some nice options but just curious...whatever happened to Lavar Arrington after he got shot?? I havent heard anything and I liked him as a olb

Yeah, quite possibly, however there were plenty of great prospects to be had with the 2a & 3rd & 4th round picks IMO. I just have this horrible feeling that we will suffer a bit at LB this year because we missed out on some excellant prospects in the draft.

Probably got fired...............

Sorry. :foundout:

would not mind greg ellis, i am pretty sure the regime is looking heavy at the teams that drafted the player and who they might cut

He appeared on a few post game shows for the Redskins last year. I dunno if he was a part of the show or if he was a guest.

Miami had a chance at alot of the OLB prospects and did not bite. It makes you think if they were not truly happy with the talent coming out this year. Miami could be very high on Wake and Roth played pretty good for it being his first year. I still think Miami signs a Vet like JT, Ellis or maybe even Laboy.

Ireland did say there were some Acorns out there he was interested in.

JuniorSeau 55 Ellis is coming of an 8 sack season and is two years younger than JT, how is he not upgrade to what we have. He knows the defense and could be a stopgap very similiar to Ferguson. He also racked up 63 tackles and an INT.

Despite the somewhat obvious message delivered when the Cowboys drafted two outside linebackers over the weekend, veteran pass rusher Greg Ellis isn’t sweating his future in Dallas.

According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, Ellis, who had griped in the past and raised the issue of whether he could be cut or traded when the team added Anthony Spencer a few years ago, isn’t worried about the presence of incoming rookies Victor Butler and Brandon Williams.

Guys I would love to see JT as a Fin, but Ellis is two years younger and is a Parcells guy and could come cheaper. He is also a Parcels guy. Could get interesting guys. This guy is also coming of a 8 sack season and knows the system. Real nice two year solutuon.

that'd be fantastic if he's cut. We could really use him.

Look at how good of an addition Polite was and they have to be real happy when nobody else was signed or drafted to compete against him. My point is just because the Draft is over it does not mean we are done picking the pieces.
