Do you guys think Mare will be back? There s been some speculation that he will not return.I feel he had a pretty solid year.To find a good kicker in the nfl is tough.Personaly I think he will be back.:dolphins: go fins

I think he'll be back. He has a very solid season last year. I think he will be asked to restructure his contract. He is pretty well paid for a kicker - a kicker who getting up there in age somewhat.

Why not? He's not as automatic as he used to be, but that leg of his is pretty strong and hes still solid.

Are they're any legit kickers out there that would be an upgrade over Mare?

Ithink that Olindo will stick aropund for at least anoher year, unless some undrafted FA kicker gives them reason to cut him. Didn't he already restructure once?

Let's see... the best kicker on the market is Vanderjagt. Yeah... I think I'll stick with Mare.

Nope, there is noone else that could replace him. Mare will stick around another season or two.

i honestly expect vanderjagt to do a lot better next season. he will be looking to rebound and prove his career isnt over/he isnt a choke

not that i want us to get him, but whoever picks him up will get him a bit cheaper than expected and i think he will be a nice suprise

He chokes because the Colts organization defines the word "choke".

my opinion on Mare is simple, atleast other teams know who our kicker is...

He is almost getting to the point where his salary outweighs his effectiveness, but if he goes, the thing I will miss the most are his kickoffs. I can't count how many touchbacks he has gotten us over the years.

As shown by the performance of some of the other teams kickers, we could have done a whole lot worse. Mare still does a great job with kickoffs. I hope he sticks around for awhile longer.

Saban will probably bring in someone in the same manner that he signed Donnie Jones last season....he ennded up having a solid season. I seriously don't think that anyone figured that Matt Turk would be cut.... even though he supposedly was injured. Another example is that they also brought in John Denney as a long snapper when Ed Perry was cut. Who really thought that was possible?

I saw Mare's production go down as soon as Blevins left. Seems he really missed Blevins.

:sidelol: Mare is great. He def. has some more years in him. Plus we could see highlights of phins fg's where berman gets all reved up with the classic....

Oooooolinoooooo MMMMaaarrreeee! Sheer gold

Vanderjat is a moron, even before he proved he's not a clutch kicker
