Um...I apologize if there has bin a thread like this already, but...
Is there any word on our Kicker? Like, waht are we doing with him? Is he getting cut, are we signing a new one, or we just keep teh guy? cause my friend today sayed he heard fins getin' a new kicker, and i cheked everywhere, and no word of that...So, if you guys knoe anything, feel free to share.
P.s. What woudl YOU want to do with Mare? I'd keep him for one more year, but if he messes up like he did this year, get rid of him..

Mare has a $2.3 million salary. I think we will re-negotiate or cut him.

We did sign a new rookie kicker to come in and compete. We do this every year, though... so I wouldn't make too much of it.

Well..i just talked to my buddy who works at the Omni (A gym down here) HE sayd there is a Dolphins kicker that goes there. I thogt that he is messing with me, cuz he knoes that i am a huge dolfan. HE saed it not Mare, osme new guy who sayed that THEY TOLD HIM THAT HE WILL B PRBLY STARTING. So..is the new guys justt BS'ing trying to act hard, or there mite be some truth in his words?

I love Mare...I do.......He's a great TB weapon, but, a kicker has to be multi dimensional. he's lost whatever the thing is in kicker's heads that made him money. I seriously think he should take a 50% pay cut to stay, or, be gone. I wish him well wherever he winds up if he's cut.

A K can't be paid like that for his performance level.

Spell checkers are cheap and helpful. Not being mean, but couldn't understand a word of that post.

IMO Mare either takes a cut or ends up elsewhere, he isn't worth his salary. For sure the Fins will be looking to replace him particularly if he won't renegotiate.

I heard from someone who supposedly had "inside" information that there's more to the signing of this kid than we think. I guess we shall see.

I think Mare either agrees to a restructured contract or he is gone. Simple as that. It will be hard to replace his booming kickoffs. That takes a lot of pressure off the special teams coverage guys. But his inconsistency on FGs lately have really hurt his value and I just can't imagine us paying him $2.3 mill next season.
