okay a qb would be nice and im all for drafting 1 if we could pick up the right one. With our current pick i dont know who that could actually be. What I think we should do this year is address the Oline.

The next is to have Cameron BEAT Brown with a bat every time he makes that stutter step before he hits the hole. I really dont know of any top 10 oline out there this year like what Ferguson was for the jets lats year. any thoughts?

also what are the chances of ricky coming back?

There won't be any QB or OL at pick 9 worth taking. People are hoping Quinn or Thomas fall to us but it won't happen. We have a LOT of needs so in our case I would take the best player available or try to trade down for another first day pick.

Ronnie's talent is not as a natural runner but a bruiser with a lot of spead and terrific hands. If used properly he will be a very good back, just don't expect the next LT. I would like to see him break some long runs because for someone win his 40 time, he seems to get caught from behind a lot. We definitely need a home run guy in the offense.

Ricky will be back because the loser owes the Phins more money that he has left. I personally hope we can trade him for anything we can get....whethers it's a draft pick or girl scout cookies.

this is where were gonna see muellers worth. Our gm should be evaluating our needs and compare that to the talent that he sees in the draft and FA and the talent he sees coming out in the next draft. I agree we need a good young franchise qb (I was all about trading up for cutler in the last one and grabbing steve hutchingson in FA). Our gm should be looking at the next two draft pools and deciding on whats here now and whats gonna be coming tomorrow. The reality is we have too much rebuilding to do to expect too much sucess next season. I do agree our oline should be a high priority for us to strengthen, but you do have to make the best of whats available to choose from.

I really think that we need to make a BIG run at Leonard Davis for our LT position. We have some cap room this year to make it happen...

agree 100% thats why Ginn is the only take it to the house man ala Harrison bush C J etc etc.

I agree with the Ronnie Brown comment. Less stuttering is better. After the injury he seemed like he had shaken that tendency.

OLine wont be addressed via the draft. There arent any LTs other than Joe Thomas worth the #9 pick...and he'll be gone in the top 5.

Eric Steinbach will be signed via FA. The 6-6 290lbs Steinbach is has started games at LG, LT, and C. Houck likes versatile guys. Plus, he's young and has made the Pro Bowl.

...then, yes...Ricky will be back. And that Ronnie/Cameron comment was hilarious!!! :sidelol:

Yeah, he did look good in his last 2 games. But the good thing about getting Ricky back is that Cameron can start him and have Ronnie Brown play the 3rd down back role that Reggie Bush played this year for the Saints.

Ricky will be our McCallister and Ronnie can be our Bush.

agree. FA will address the O Line.

Ricky is more like LT than Ronnie. Ronnie's a straight running guy who will push the pile rather than juke a guy for a long gain. Ricky's much more shiftier and better at the stutter-step if his head is in the game. Right now, we need a franchise LT. Only Joe Thomas is capable of being called that. Leonard Davis I don't think will be anything more than a D-Mac kind of stopgap. We can also use a good LG and that's where Steinbach may fit in, though he is undersized for a Houck line.

I agree. But everyone is assuming that Minn will select Jarrett over Ginn Jr...and it is actually possible that Minn may select Ginn Jr because of the fact that he seems like a game breaking playmaker.

He looks a lot like a potential Marvin Harrison/Steve Smith type.

So, if I were Mueller...I'd sign Kevin Curtis to replace Welker. This way we can use the #9 pick on Reggie Nelson.

Reggie Nelson is tooooo sloooowww. Allen,Bell and Hill are good, Reggie wouldn't even see any playing time. We need an immediate impact player at the #9. Draft Ginn, start Hagan, he should be ready next year. Trade Chambers. He's a disappointment year in and year out. Let Welker go and spend the money on a defensive FA.

Our biggest issue is at the Qb position...yes we need to upgrade our o-line, but once we switched to Joey they performed better because he made quicker reads. Ronnie still rushed for a thousand yards and he missed several games. Our offensive problems came from poor play calling and Qb play.

I say that ronnie and ricky should split carries if ricky gets back in. Ricky is a power back more then ronnie. You have to keep your feet moving to be a power back and consistantly hitting the hole rather then trying to bounce it outside helps too

All i know is ricky made our oline look good, and i want him back :dolphins::dolphins:
