You can't argue with his production this year. He's clearly turning into a good football player.
 
OV has been great this year, one of the biggest surprises. I don't think even the biggest Dolphins homer would have predicted a double digit sack year for him at the beginning of TC.
 
he is still developing as a pass rusher. If DJ can make the next step we may have a healthy rotation.
 
Good draft pick getting developed well by our coaches and himself, really pleased with his progress. With Wake and Jordan DE could be a strength of ours in the future which is so important in a passing league.
 
I know I've been one to question why Jordan don't get more snaps buy Vernon has been balling this year
 
doing very good this year, very good pick by Ireland, and now we know why Jordan is not playing much, lets see if CW starts playing consistent
 
he benefits a great deal from wake, let's not be mistaken, a la ogunleye. we need DJ to step it up to take us to that next level.
 
It takes time to develop... There is so much knee jerking around here it's tough to get a fair perspective on where we are as a team. It's taken O.V. 2-3 seasons (can't remember) for him to finally contribute consistently. I remember a lot of members in here would have had O.V. sit the bench while D.J. develops as a starter on the line... If C. Wake begins to feel his age we should be set on the D-line long term. With Oderick, Solia, Vernon, and Jordan we're set! Very happy to be getting solid contributions from O.V.
