Make that AFC Defensive Player of The Week.

Over in the AFC, Miami Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon posted 10 tackles and a career-high 2.5 sacks in a lopsided win over the New York Jets. The sensational outing earned Vernon the Defensive Player of the Week in the American Football Conference

He was and he's been doing it all yr, whenever someone is tracked down from the backside or gets tackled down the field you see Vernon making the play or help make the play...the guy has a great motor good to see him get some recognition
