Last year, the OL gave up 31 sacks, 45 hits, and 131 hurries. However, in the first 9 games, we gave up 14 sacks, 19 hits, and 54 hurries.

In 9 games, Colledge played 7 and gave uo 5 sacks. Poucey had 3 in 5 games, Albert 3 and James 2 in 9, Smith 1 in 4 games, Satele 0 in 9, and Dallas 0 in 6.

Get rid of Colledge, which we did, and Tannehill was sacked once a game, and hit twice a game, hardly being killed until the injury.

Clearly Dallas Thomas performed better when he had Albert next to him while playing LG. I can only imagine getting Albert back healthy and having Pouncey back at center will help him improve even more.

He fell apart at RT . . . and I blame the coaches for putting him there. He's been abysmal every time he's been asked to play tackle and I don't need to see him there anymore. I don't want him having ANY reps at the tackle position in camp. Put him at LG and keep him there . . . . unless you are comfortable throwing him at RG because of Turner being the more prototypical guard on that blindside and because he has more tackle ability than Thomas.

I haven't completely given up on him like many on here have . . . . but having a contingency plan is a must.

I'm talking about the entire OL here, not Dallas. Other than Albert no one blocked well but, we got the job done. Until the injury, RT was far from getting killed, and had a good year. The OL was horrible in run blocking but, Miller was to 10 in tards, average, and TD's. This was done with Satele, off the scrap heap, being the only one playing almost every snap at his position.

How much would a top pick rookie OG have helped last year? Maybe some, maybe not. I'm hoping more for Albert and Pouncey to be their best than I am a rookie making a difference. JMO
