Is this bad news? Omar says statement win going into Detroit and winning on the road. Says the Lions aren't really that special and likes a lot of our matchups. I just read Shefter's column and he has Miami at Detroit as the game of the week and Miami over Detroit as the upset of the week. Says the Lions always collapse in the middle of the season and gives some Matt Stafford stats to back that up. So 2 guys we don't think do a very good job picking games like Miami this week, interesting.

Where's the link to the Shefty article? I'd enjoy reading up on those stats.

Apparently Schefty's not the only one... looks like the majority is backing Miami. I never like that, I was always taught the masses are the a**es. Never more so when dealing with ESPN.

No...Omar has been pretty spot on with us this year. Haven't followed Schefter.

What do Omar and Schefter have in common?

They don't know a thing about football. They're reporters. Their job is to report information not analyze.

Good man!

Following quote is from said article.

• Game of the Week: Dolphins at Lions -- Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has led the Dolphins to wins in four of their past five games while having runs of 20 or more yards in each of his past four starts, gets one of the toughest defenses he will face this season. If Tannehill keeps performing at this level and is consistent, Miami will be a team to watch.

• Upset of the Week: -- Dolphins over Lions. Detroit has been notorious for struggling in the second half of a season. Check out these numbers:

2013: 2-6 record, Matthew Stafford 54 percent completion percentage, 13 TDs and 13 interceptions.

2012: 0-8 record, Stafford 56 percent completion percentage, 12 TDs, 10 interceptions.

I'm not betting on it but it would be fantastic if our offense can move the ball on them, that would truly be a statement. And it'll bode well for the short week vs Buffalo, we'll be able to just go with the same gameplan for the most part.

Golic picked the Dolphins? Who's next? Heath Evans?

Iron Mike has our back. Hell yeah!

Sadly, the USA Today predictions guys like the Lions. I've mentioned before, but even though I didn't even realize the USA Today still existed, they post their predictions online and their guys are usually the best. They're 4-3 for the Lions. :(

He will watch the Eagles game. He might deny it, but you know he is watching the Eagles game.
