Omar Jacobs QB Miami Dolphins #4

Oh wow....hasn't been the greatest 3rd quarter
They need to get back to the midrange routes and stop shooting downfield, he looks a bit rattled with those passes.
At least it became the game we all expected, battle of I-75. Lets go BG

I made this thread a while back but I still feel like this guy is poised to have a monster season and could be targeted by the phins IF feeley doesnt pan out. Im not sayin feeley wont pan out so feeley huggers dont burn me.

I like Feeley but if we bring in a bigtime talent like Jacobs I am all for it... This guy is a Donovan McNabb that can really pass.. He isn't the runner that most think he is guy of his size and speed, but the guy has a cannon and is very accurate... Can't wait to see how he fares this year because he really only has one season under his belt, but how can you argue with 41tds and 4ints...

Is anyone watching BGSU vs. Toledo on espn2. Omar is looking pretty sharp.

Yeah and watch Omar and the rest of BGSU fall apart in the 2nd half.

No! we have to get Reggie Bush next year.

Are you smoking crack? we just drafted a RB this year. why would Miami draft a RB next year? not to mention the fact that Reggie Bush will not translate to the pros very well.

I love this kid. He might have more potential than any QB in college football. He might not be there for us though. Guys like Whitehurst or Reggie McNeal, might be more realistic options.

Check the date and time of that post, it was made last year. :D Don't worry I was thinking the same thing when I read it.

Lol, its funny how everyone is burning that guy for saying we should take Bush next year, this thread is like 9 months old, he said that a LONG time ago.

Funny how nobody wanted Brown but would kill for Bush a guy that couldn't even be drafted this year..

Omar does show promise. but, BGSU runs a spread offense and he is always in the shotgun so his passing numbers are inflated. BGSU had a couple of tough games last year but they also played schools that most high school teams could beat like south easter missuri state. It will be interesting to see how he does this year. they have a couple of tough games again. plus they lost some key defensive players. which will make it harder on him. it's easier to pass when you want to rather than when you have to. he lost some O-Linemen. so his protection will be worse. he also lost a good WR in cole magner. He will most like stay at BGSU even after next year. but i still look for him to get drafted in the 5-7 round range, if at all.

Are we talking about the same Omar Jacobs, 5-7 round range if all, this guy will most likely be a 1st round pick next or the year after... Alex Smith ran the spread offense also out of the gun if i remember and I think he got picked high in the draft...
