Doesnt look like a qb he looks like some player throwing the ball

who ever says to draft him is probably the one that said draft mcpershon in the 2nd

yes i cant belive so many people on this board are so high on this guy and i think most of them were the same ones that were so high on mcphersen as well

He looks like a shotputter to me.

personally, i've only seen highlights, not an entire game, so i cant comment fully. i dont think its his arm so much, as the whole dual purpose qb thingy of the future. everyone is looking for the vick factor. jerry jones was so enamored with vick, that he drafted quincy carter 2 rounds too early in hopes he would lead the marketing revolution alongside vick. can you even fathom the hype vince young and MARCUS VICK (oh yea, watch this kid, HE IS A QB..living in VA, i catch alot of va.tech)will get? anyway, i will be sure to give jacobs a look-see and post again, when i know somethign about him.

i like Drew Stanton outta Michigan State he will be very good. Omar Should have played something else

He has only one bad game vs Bowie state, he played his next game and through for 4 tds and 350+ yards passing. He is only a junior and he is making his offense move, he doesnt have anyone on his team to talk about. Same as Ben had at Mia (OH) and Leftwhich had at Marshall. He is going to be a beast. Sh*** Linerat has Bush, White, and WRs, imagine if he didnt have that. Carson Palmer played with the same team and didnt have the talent LInerat had, Palmer made that team and you see how he is producing in Cinny. Linerat is a product of the system, what would he do if he is on a team with no running game and average recievers I dont think he will make a difference. Jacobs can (McNabb type) make something out of nothing.

Omar and Heisman should never,i repeat NEVER,be used in the same sentence.........Some people get dumbfounded by stats

Bruce Gradkowski will be a much better NFL qb

Omar won't win the Heisman.
I think that time it's okay to use them in the same sentence.

I like Jacobs because we went to highschool together. What ever team he lands on I will follow him. It would just be alot easier following him on the Dolphins. However, it doesn't really matter.

let's face it, just about all of jacobs' hype is coming from his touchdown/interception ratio from last year, not his actual gameplay and pro potential

I'm a Jacobs fan, and I'll be the first to admit he is far from polished. The coaching staff at BG seem to be so content with the stats they won't work with him on his faults.

Another thing going for him is character, guy has a ton of good qualities in that sense. If anyone ever read that ESPN article on him (magazine), you'll know what I'm talking about.

I would love for the Phins to grab him in the mid to late rounds if he falls.

This is a Fins Forum, not a college QB forum...what are we talking about guys that might not even be available next year and we are facing the Jills today...get off the "draft every QB that has one good game" kick...

We definitely need a qb for the future. To be honest I don't know if there is a qb in the 2006 draft worth going after for the future since we will draft low. We will win the afc east this year and be 11-5. we will draft in the 20's. If Gus is contuing to play really well & stays healthy we need to wait another year unless we can trade for Phillip Rivers. WE NEED A GOOD DB RIGHT NOW!! I really like Travis Daniels but he is a rookie and needs more experience. We can make a run this year. We have a great team. If we can fill the other db slot then we can go deep in the playoffs. We have Ronnie and Ricky.

I'd love it if he falls to us in the mid rounds, but I don't think theres any way he drops lower than the 2nd round, somebody will pick him based on his potential, if nothing else.
