Omar Kelly:How can Miami Dolphins solve this QB issue?

the problem is there's no qb worth the damn pick we have...just our damn luck

How can they solve the QB issue?

How about simply drafting one in the first round, something they haven't done since you know who in 1983.
I don't think its that simple. You have to bet hes the right player and going to be a good QB. People are saying they are fine with taking the risk, and thats all that matters to them. I'm at that point as well but its a scary thought to try it and fail...

We, uh, we have no luck.

Heh.

this place would be brimming with excitement and optimism if we could have just done what we needed to do last year...and lost

instead we are up **** creek without a damn paddle...i have NEVER been so frustrated...never...i knew the 1-15 season disaster was coming when we signed scrambled eggs trent green but this offseason was supposed to be about upgrading the qb position and we did nothing...david garrard...**** off

I went by a Colts board again this morning and it's still making me sick to my stomach. They are so pumped. Right now their biggest 'worry' is who will be better: RG3 or Luck? And will the Colts pick the better of the two? Unbelievable.

i'm not a rg3 guy but at least there would some real damn optimism around here about his potential etc had we even pulled off the #2 pick...at least there would be some excitement...

here's the scary part about tannehill at #8...we take him...he sits the bench behind garrard or moore whatever for the entire 2012 season we then go into the 2013 draft with nothing answered at the position and pass up high level qb talent in round 1...

only us...

right now whoever we draft at qb is prob gonna sit but tanneyhill having played in the offense would have a better chance than anybody else after the top 2

Draft Ryan Tannehill. Have some balls for once in your life Jeff Ireland and make a meaningful investment in the quarterback position.

I agree, I don't care if we take him at 8 and let him sit for a year or two it will be well worth it down the road, the kid has tremendous upside, mike mayock says he is the next phillp rivers but with mobility, I trust mayock he is one of the best in the bizz.

Im all aboard on drafting tannehill at 8. We could have solved this damn problem in 2008 but we of course couldnt evaluate qb worth a damn and went for Henne

i sure hope mike sherman knows what the **** he's doing when it comes to evaluating a qb cause i don't see how anyone worth their salt can sit down and watch his games as a whole and not come away with some uh oh on that evaluation as far as the pros are concerned...

no doubt in my mind though that he's the pick a #8...

as for philip rivers much much better vertical accuracy on the deep ball...much better

Trade down and pick Tannehill. Just make sure we trade before pick 22 of the Browns.
