If your a beat writer with no sources and don't know jack **** about football, no one will pay attention to you.

Unless you say outlandish things for attention, and to create a story where there isn't one.

This really is a Mia thing as far as sports journalism goes. You don't really see beat writers go to the lengths the guys in Mia do, for attention.

Quite a few, a lot of buddies work on wall street, and there fantasy leagues are freaking expensive. So I set up an account on twitter to follow every beat writer I could find to try and get a edge.

What's acceptable for Mia journalism really isn't in most other places. There's bad best writers for sure. Def other guys who try to stir up the pot, but nothing even close to what is going on in Mia sports journalism.

Heck you live in ny, the media capital of the world, name one beat writer in all of ny who pulls the crap they do in Mia. Maybe frank isola to a small degree, but that's it.

Yeah I don't see the big issue here, I just see a bunch of emotional grown men lol. He isn't wrong no matter what any of you try and convince yourself of. If Branden Albert gives up 8 sacks in the first 4 games the first page will have 20 different variations of "OVERPAAIIDD" "HICKEY SUCKS" " MONROES ONLY GIVEN UP 2 SACKS". Im not at all saying that is a bad thing, its true of our fan base and almost any.
 
Omar is NOT a Dolphin fan so he could care less. He said it's his job to cover the team and that's it. He has professed his love for the Ravens many times and he now has a man crush on the 49ers and Seahawks.
 
Omar's the worst of a bad lot when it comes to beat reporters in SoFla. The best part of the Parcells/Ireland error was watching these guys fume about getting nothing from the organization.

Cimini is atrocious, and that's just off the top of my head. I pretty much only listen to sports radio here now, and that's only after the jets or giants lose because the **** they say is hilarious.

Sorry, The irony of an idiot calling other people a derogatory term but not knowing how to properly use the English language was too much to pass up. Your hipster slang isn't helping your cause much either. Do you only use the term "neck beards" while wearing your Drew Carey glassless rims and summertime scarf, or is douche-speak part of your everyday vernacular?

More accurately would be, watch yourself Brandon, and careful with Omar Kelly. You could go all year just giving up one sack, and one hurry, and those will be the two things he will continually write about.....nothing else, because Mr. Kelly considers himself an expert in O-line play, according to him, that is all he watches in preseason.

Truly. I saw this story and spent all of 10 seconds on it. Funniest part is, the people who are indifferent about him spend zero time talking about him, yet all the "haters" (as he puts it), spend an egregious amount of time discussing him; hilarious. I'm shocked that this story is 11 pages long. People are way too sensitive, get over it...
 
I'm a Dolphin fan from NJ and live currently in LA. I have been saying it for years, as fans....... WE suck!!!!! I've been to Jets/Patriots(our biggest rivals) games and have seen the tailgaiting OUR fans allow by them and other teams. This is different but, points to the overall attitude of our fans. If Albert has 8 good games then turns in 2 out of 3 bad games, he'd be done with YO- scratch that- US Dolphins fans. He'd be ripped to pieces on these very boards and if you are honest with yourselves, you'd see it. Omar is a d**khead but, when has he not been one? Sorry Dolphans, take that look into the mirror on this one.
