Omar Kelly Tweet that really got me thinking

LOL..I think Omar just needs a hug  Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly 3h I will continue to say this till someone listens. Two easy ways for Tannehill to cheat & make Miami's offense better. 1. Run. 2. Checkdowns I agree with Omar on the few checkdowns that are there though. But not on running more. Now that we are in a playoff run for the last wild card.We will see the surprise designed runs from Ryan. Here's a checkdown you cant pass up.While some are crying deep pass,I am wanting the checkdowns. Weird, when I see that play, I think "COVER UP THE BALL!" because holy crap look at that outside pressure.

6 guys are blocking 4 guys and the 4 guys are crushing the 6 guys.....that's CRAP IHMO.....da Phinz need better offensive linemen so that their play makers can make plays period. Please DRAFT lots of beef in the 2014 draft.

Wasn't the his pass to Clay when Troy missed the tackle on 3rd and 7 a checkdown? But he definitely does not checkdown alot. The thing I like is our WR/TE have started getting YAC but even in this game they showed Pitts YAC versus ours and it was 159 to 56 or something like that. That is how you raise YPA. Not throwing further every play.

It amazes me how someone who actually played some NFL football and has so much inside access to the Fins knows so little about football.

I can tell you this, my twitter TL is much happier since i stopped following him and his ego.
Chubbs

Omar played in the NFL?

Omar's tweets could be called the good, the bad,and the ugly.

The good...love eye candy.

The Bad...

Nic names the QB he is paid to cover Sho'nuff

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly 46m
Sho'nuff did it, GREAT. Had his third KILL of the season (Hercules, Hercules)....Now do it again & get your team to the playoffs.

The Ugly...

Thinks we need his opinion on judging a QB by a few nutty twitter followers and calls the believers morons

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly 54m
You people (ball watchers) so desperately want me to tell you the Dolphins have a QB for the next decade. Only a moron thinks that NOW.

If Omar's tweets are getting you thinking, I respectfully suggest that you make an appointment to see your doctor. He will probably seek a CAT scan of your brain and it could be serious. Other Omar Kelly tweet readers have had lobotomies. Our prayers are with you for a full recovery.

there are times when the RB is wide open, including the pick six to palamalu.

Omar played in the NFL?

No. His career "highlights" are below. Never played football at any level as far as I can tell.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised humbly in the heart of Miami-Dade County (Carol City) I've spent most of my childhood working in stadiums and arenas selling items and food to Dolphin, Marlin and Heat fans hoping that one day I'd be able to report for them.

While attending college at Florida A&M University pursing a degree in journalism I lived up to my Jamaican roots, juggling numerous stringer jobs and internships to work my way through school. My journalism career started at the Miami Herald as a high school and college intern before moving onto the Boston Globe (where I interned twice, once in news and once in sports), Detroit Free Press, Palm Beach Post, and South Florida Sun-Sentinel, which eventually brought me home in 1999.

I follow Omar and honestly don't see anything wrong with him. He's a bit egotistical but what he's saying is true, some just don't want to hear it.

The Sho'Nuff reasoning is right here http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/20...0121004_1_ryan-tannehill-nicknames-chad-henne

The Ugly could go either way. He has no business calling some fans morons, but it is a bit moronic to think that Tannehill is a franchise QB NOW. When he starts completing passes like the in-completions to an open Hartline and Moore against the Jets (14 points that Luck or Wilson would have put up easily) then we can crown him as a franchise QB imo. He is still developing and I have no problem waiting another year to see what happens. Hopefully he clicks in the last 3 games.

Omar's interviews on wqam are usually entertaining...

How is it they didn't get called for illegal formation?? The LT is 3 yds off the LOS.

He throws where the play is designed to go, to default. He does not check down or go through progressions, or any of that high level stuff.

I guarantee he goes through progressions.

It's equally moronic to think he wont be a franchise quarterback, and I could show you 100 passes that were all pro.It goes both ways....

As far as I can tell he's talking about the future not now.

You dont call fans that think he may be a franchise QB for the next 10 years morons. It's immature and condescending. He said "you ball watchers want me to tell you the Dolphins have a QB for the next decade"Only a moron thinks that NOW

Omar, you nor I can or cant prove he will or wont be,so dont act like you can.
