I really don't think he will be healthy enough to start the season, its gonna be another sign him and wait and see how he develops. I guess teams are willing to pay him just to stand on the sidelines... I really hope the dolphins aren't one of them

I keep vascilating between the realistic viewpoint that he is likely done and whishfull thinking that maybe he is intentionally obfuscating the true status of his recovery because he wants OUT of Indy. And that, as soon as he is cut, we will start hearing that his recovery is going great and he is throwing with 95-100% velocity...

When Manning is cut he is free to sign that day.The reason is he will not be under contract at that time like other free agents are till march 12.

I'm sure he'll be cut by the start of free agency but I don't know about taking a physical to show everyone he's healthy. I think it's going to be a while before he's healthy enough to play football again. By that time most teams will have moved on. The only team that can wait are the Cardinals. They're not planning on drafting a QB or signing one in free agency. They can wait for Manning to show he's healthy and cut Kolb without any salary cap problems.

Omar is very optimistic about his health. I tend to think he'll make less than that, and won't be signed til after the draft due to the health concerns.

Here's how I expect the day to play out. In the morning, the sun will rise. In the evening, the sun will set. Omar will continue to be an idiot regardless of the earth's rotation.

We play in Indy next season so that would be fun to go in there and beat up on his old team :)
