Omar thinks were being used, expect the worst

The funny thing about all these "beat" writers is that they are no more credible than we are. They have no more information than we have and they speculate as much or even more than we do. Playing Devil's Advocate is all they know how to do so they could have some validity in any of the arguments that they choose to partake in.

I don't know where Peyton plans to play, but he has earned the right to seek out the best option for him. Hopefully that option is us.

The FO will know by Tuesday about Peyton. And can't do anything till Tuesday as far as Flynn.
If Peyton passes Flynn will be our next great potential failure, but with Philbin we do have an edge and the FO should be prepared for a full assault........

I'm with you KDansby58 if you and i are the only ones left in the trenches so be it. My fellow fin-fans are waaaayyyy to fickle for my liking whichever way the wind blows the seem to follow.
 
Manning should want to play in Miami more than Miami wants Manning to play there. If not, then let the Broke-neck Primadonna go with the other donkey-face, Elway and play there....

And just how is it "clear" that we are being used? Why expect the worst when you can also expect the best? I guess after what seems like a lifetime of mediocrity, it could put you in that mindset.

If by "survive" you mean continue to be a completely gutless and mediocre football organization, then yes we will definitely survive.
 
I would love to see him here but i am not getting my hopes up. I would like Flynn but feel he will sign with someone who will overpay him. I think with that said we sign Orton have matt moore fight for the starter and Draft Tannenhill for the future.
 
Some of you are getting really annoying. Stop panicking. He just became a FA not too long ago. He's not going to sign with the first team he visits.
 
Omar Kelly is terrible. Mehta in new york is worse though. Let me reiterate, Omar Kelly is absolutely one of the worst beat writers ever. I wish he would go away and cover a team in Europe.
 
I don't see how we are being used.

With Ryan Clark it was obvious as even when he visited us he said he wanted to stay in Pittsburgh

With Fisher it was obvious he wanted full control and we weren't gonna give him that

With Peyton? No. First off, not getting signed does not equal being used. Hell, to me it's obvious that Peyton doesn't want to rush to a decision and wants to go to the best place for him. Everybody who is close to Peyton or knows him has said as much. Peyton is going to go to the team that he feels the most comfortable with.
