Jason LaCanfora reports that the Dolphins have reached out to David Garrard and Jake Delhomme. No deal has been made yet, as both veterans are looking for part of their contract to be guaranteed. (They want to be around more than a week or two.)
Garrard makes the most sense here if the team needs a long-term fix. At this point, Matt Moore is the only healthy quarterback on the Dolphins roster.

you have got to be kidding me. the season is over let moore start:confused:

Meh. We need QB depth and they aren't about to bring up Devlin with their jobs on the line (in their minds, we all know they have no jobs).

He already said No Thanks! Not to worry though it was not because the current state of the franchise, or the failed regime. It was over guaranteed money and having to compete with Moore for the highly covenanted starting job.

This FO isn't on the "Suck for Luck" bandwagon. They're on the "bring in anyone who can save our jobs" bandwagon.

[1 p.m. Update: NFL Network is reporting the Dolphins reached out to Garrard as well as Jake Delhomme but failed to sign either because the club apparently didn't want to guarantee any player's base salary for the remainder of the season.]

Garrard should have been signed the day after he was cut if the team was serious about competing this year.

Garrard blows.

Why do people want QBs who have been CUT by other teams?

You people love mediocre QBs.

I dont see why you guys dont want him here (besides the fact that he might ruin our "suck4luck" campaigns) Id take him over Moore any day!!

If this team had this little faith in Moore, why in the world did they acquire him?

One of the many questions Ross seems completely happy ignoring.
