Well if we are this desperate call in Pat White

Obviously, Chad Henne's injury is more serious than first anticipated. Henne might need surgery, and if he does I can't see him putting that off until the end of the season. Think about it. He is in the last year of his contract, the head coach and most of the current coaching staff will not be there come the off season (maybe before). He will be given a new contract by a new team willing to give him a fresh start, and Henne gets out of a losing organization. So with that being said....maybe now is when the Dolphins pull the trigger on a trade. David and Jake will be adequate but won't get up where we need to go. Its too bad we don't have a rookie back there to play, now would be the time.

Clayton reported that the Dolphins worked out Trent "Capt Checkdown" Edwards yesterday ... ummm, not a good idea. If you're gonna go with a Bills reject, JP Losman would be a better choice in that he'd add some excitement to your offense although not necessarily in a good way, and I think he's available. :d-day:

Trade for whom??? Tebow??? :lol2:

The Phins do have a rookie, who do you think posters mean when they mention "Devlin"? Activate him and see what he can do. He was a pretty decent Div II QB last season from the same program that produced Joe Flacco. It's preferrable, IMO, to trading anything for a first round bust or failed starter.

God damn it. Jills fans are making more sense than some of us, and certainly more sense than Jeff Ireland.

He already said No Thanks! Not to worry though it was not because the current state of the franchise, or the failed regime. It was over guaranteed money and having to compete with Moore for the highly covenanted starting job.

To be accurate,, Gerrard doesn't want to be treated like some of the other vets we've brought in here. Signed today, cut tomorrow. He wants some guarantees. Which is smart on his part, and stupid for the Phins. Professional football teams are run to lose games so the fans can get excited for a draft pick. They are paid to win games, at all costs, regardless of the circumstances.

Gerrard is the best QB on the market at this moment. We'd be stupid not to sign him.

Not sure but maybe all this 'suck for luck' (what a stupid childish phrase btw) has sucked some non-existing brain cells out. What is wrong with you people?
A team needs three QBs. If Henne is out for the season or any length of time who will be QBing if Moore goes out?

Garrard is not as bad anybody makes him out to be. I am not saying he will be our new starting QB but as a pick up to fill the roster I take him any day. He is a veteran which we do not have. For his career he has thrown for more TDs than INTs (which Henne is dreaming off). And on the contrary to claims here he was only cut but one team: Jacksonville Jaguars on Sept 6, 2011 - at the start of this season.

He was drafted by the Jags as their future QB but Coughlin was fired the next year and the next regime drafted immediately Leftwich. Garrard became the odd man out.

He has thrown for over 16,000 yards since he came into the league (2002) and threw for 89 TDs and rushed for 17 TDs (and 54 INTs).
From 2002 to 2005 he only played sporadic. Last year he played 14 games with 23 TDs and 15 INTs and he rushed for 5 TDs. That gives him 28 TDs in 14 games. I think our entire team output was 25TDs over 16 games.

I think it is a great pick up to back Moore up.

If Henne is out any length of time who do you guys expect the FO to sign as a backup to Moore? Not very much out there.
