Scoop Jackson & Skip Bayless just admitted MIA into the top 5 teams dicussion in the AFC.....

Scoop:"I have NE,PIT,BAL,SD,TEN,maybe IND,"he said."And I didnt even mention MIA yet..."

Me,personally,I think that a tad generous,but to be contemplated over the Colts speaks a big deal toward respectablity towards the Dolphins.

I would go-

PIT,NE,SD,BAL,IND,MIA then TEN....

Guys....Im worried.....I wanted the "underdog,no one cares about us,us against the world" mentality going into the season,AND NOW THIS.....
 
My AFC Power Rankings as of right now are the following...

Tier One: Pit, NE
Tier Two: Bal, Ind, SD
Tier Three: Mia, Ten

It doesn't matter. It doesn't have any barring on the game. The TEAM still feels like underdogs and that isnt going away just cause Skip decided to open his mouth again.
 
We have enough underdog motivation. Vegas O/U win total, nobody picking us to actually make the playoffs. There is plenty there already.

I understand that,but cmon,when Skip gives MIA that kinda praise,it tends to catch some people off guard.....me included

You guys tend to give San Diego too much credit....if it weren't for their weak division, they wouldn;t even be mentioned in this group, anyone in the AFC west is not worth mentioning with this group

Honestly I don't think Indy is in that group either with all the coaching changes and confusion on the offensive scheme. Yeah they still have Manning but I think they are over rated.

Bayless is the broken clock of sports journalism: even he gets it right 2X a day. Hopefully, Brainless doesn't end up jinxing us.

i agree.. san diego is one of the most overrated teams in the league, even if they did get far in the playoffs. if they were in even a mediocre division they wouldnt be a playoff team.. I would replace Indy and Tenn spots to.. tennessee is an overall stronger team imo
 
I think baltimore takes a step back without rex ryan. anyway, the dolphins are going to suprise people this year. even if we go 10-6, with the tough schedule, i think we will see improvment in the team.
 
I think the Dolphins are in the mix. The Steelers and Patriots are better. I see the Colts on the decline as I feel the same about the Titans. No Fat Albert and that whole defense changes. I think the Ravens take a major step back. They never put back to back winning seasons and Rex Ryan is gone. Joe Flacco will take a major step back IMO. Mike Preston, a writer for the Baltimore Sun, said that Flacco has reminded him of Kyle Boller so far and is throwing a ton of picks. Also, we beat the Chargers just a year ago. I am sorry but I think the Dolphins are one of the best coached teams and their young talent is starting to emerge. In two years this team could be Super
 
Yeah he has a man crush on BP.....of course we are in the mix we won the division last year and only go better in the offseason....our secondary is nasty and Wake is starting to show our pass rush with Wake and JP should be improved and who knows what to expect from our O if our line is where the a Fo wants it to be Ronnie and Ricky should climb over and or near 1000 yards each and cobbs sound get some carries too......who knows lets find out on the field woot woot

I think everybody gives SD too much credit and it's been happeneing for about 3 years now.
