If he was available at 9 i would Love to take him, howeve ri dont agree with trading up to get him. But for all those people that rip him need to stop. Peyton Manning never won the big game at Tennessee. Notre Dame was over hyped they played bowl games they didnt deserve to be in and everyone knows that and thats for 2 reasons the money because of notre dames fan hype, and the prestige of the program. The Lsu game for one the playcalling was horrible and the defensse is rediculous. He plays behind in every game. The USC game they SCORED ON THERE FIRST THREE DRIVES. You cant be great in situations like that and the offensive line was not playing to there hype according to Lee Corso and Kirk so give the man some slack hes going to be a great NFL quarterback and I would love to have him i hope he falls to us thats how we got the greatest quarterback to ever play the game maybe its destiny people?????

But how do you know he is going to be a great QB? Nobody knows how he will do in the NFL. Its a crap shoot. You can't predict how well he will do before he even plays one game.

That's true, however, from what I have read Quinn is very smart and picked up Weiss' playbook very quickly. He has been well coached to be patient and progress through his reads. Inability to read defenses is what sets most rookie QB's back. Of all the QB's coming out in this draft he is the one most NFL ready.

How does anybody know how good any college QB is going to be in the Pros. Look how far Dan Marino fell in the 1st round and how many QBs were picked ahead of him. The risk is going to have to be taken at some time or another because Miami hasn't been able to find a franchise QB using other teams castoffs/Injured/2nd stringers. This QB parade has gone on so long we wouldn't know how to act with a good, consistant, dependable starting QB.

If he's there at #9, I don't think he will be there at #10!!!!

Nobody knows how good any QB will be out of college. But lately in the past 4 years, QB's in the top 15 of the first round have been at least decent for the teams who drafted them (Leinart, Young, Cutler, Smith, Manning, Rivers, Roesthlisberger, Palmer, and Leftwich).

Hes either psychic? or he believes the hype hes reading!

Correct me if I am wrong but didnt Tennessee win the National Championship in Peytons last year in 1998?

I doubt that. Leaf was touted because of his physical abilities and extremely powerful cannon arm. Scouts these days know the folly of just drafting based on physical abilities. They look at leadership, pocket presense, intangibles, ability to read defenses, and over all, how cerebral a QB is. Call it the Peyton Manning effect. Quinn has shown all of that in college and under a Pro-style offense to boot.

ill correct you they won the national tittle in 1998 but the qb was tee martin. and peyton did win big games in college he did beat the alabamas and georgias of the world. the only thins brady quin has done is beat up on army and navy his record is pitifull when you subtract wins over service academys, and as far as being smart wasnt jay fiedler and ivy league didnt we keep him for ever because he was quote smart and knew the offense. in closing brady quin = overhyped garbage whos only being discussed because he played for notred dame

I'm glad Heath Shuler...err, Brady Quinn won't be there when the Dolphins draft.

Like Duffy said, Tennessee won the year AFTER Manning graduated.
