On pace to break 49 sacks..

We have 34 sacks on pace to break last years record and giving up less in the air this D could end up being one of the best we have had..could be compared to many of our defenses and be ranked high we will have to see..Fins4life...

Our defense is geared towards the big defensive play.Remember what Saban said from the outset.

We want teams to hate playing us.....and they are beginning to do just that.

but anyways yeah our defense has been very good this year and surprise,surpirse our pass D is ranked 7th in the league.

on pace to tie and prolly break considering there will probably be a game like last we where we had 8 sacks. They are averaging 3 sacks per game,5 games left = 49 sacks

Asked and answered then. 34/39 has a little leeway.
 
Our defense has stepped it up big time. Another thing i noticed was that Channing Crowder has been emerging as a presence on the field which is helping us out big time. Look at his total tackles through 16 games last year and look how many he has in 11 games this year. I think he's also in the top 10 in tackles this year which makes me happy to think that we have two linebackers that can be this productive.

With 49 sacks that makes it kinda hard to walk doesn't it???:(
 
now all we need is to get another linebacker who can put constant pressure on the qb and we will have even more
