? on PS players

i know they increased the number of players we can put on the squad but my question is this.
1)when a team makes there final cuts they then place their players that did not make the 53 man onto the PS ,but how long of a period are other teams allowed to snatch them up.is it within 24 hrs of placing them on the Ps or is it that they can claim them throught the whole year ?
2)wht was the # of players changed to that we are allowed to keep
3)who is our guys we plae on the PS

1, you can assign players to the PS after the roster trim down. teams can then sign any player off other teams' PS, but must keep those players on the roster throughout the season

2, you can put 8 on PS now

3, that's anyone's guess right now. i'd say Mark Lewis, Ryan Baker, Louis Ellis, J.D. Folsom look like good candidates to end up on PS

I'm pretty sure any team can take a player off the practice squad at any time so long as they put that player onto the active roster.

the practice squad is put together right after the cut down to 53, any player that is unclaimed can be put on your practice squad... so usually if you cut the guys, they have to clear waivers first then you can add them to the PS, some players dont clear waivers though... any player on a practice squad can be picked up by another team as long as they put them on the active roster...

If a team signs a player away from another's practice squad, they are only required to keep the player on their 53-man for 3 games (actually they don't have to even keep them 3 games, but they will still count against the 53 man limit for 3 games even if they are waived).
