I was watching sportscenter this morning (Wed.) and on the "Fact or Fiction" NFL Segement they asked :

"Fact of Fiction, the Miami Dolphins will not win a game this season"

How completely idiotic is this. We are not that bad of a football team, even with all of our losses. Im predicting around a .500 season.

Salsbury and the other guy (someone involved in the war) said that this was fiction, thank goodness. I dont think its a question that we will win 5-8 games.

But the fact that the question was even posed on sportscenter makes me sick.
Pathetic. It shows no respect for our D. PATHETIC ESPN

Back when we played jacksonville in the preseason, the one guy on espnews said "remember when Miami went undefeated? they'll end up doing the opposite this year"

It's already been proven, ESPN is full of idiots.

if we lose to Cincy, it will be a valid question :(

ESPN hates the Dolphins there is no way for anyone to deny it. What would you expect from a sports station located in the heart of Patriot country. Sometimes I think I know more about football then those guys(and I am just a college student and they get paid).

wow, they think Miami is THAT bad. A team has to be REALLY REALLY REALLY bad to not win a game. Miami isn't REALLY REALLY REALLY bad. I will admit that this season does not look good, however even if the offense doesn't improve they are bound to win a game or two.

Well you guys are easy targets after all the crap that's happened. Even though it's far from the truth

Man, if even the lowly Chargers and Bengals (speaking historically here) have won at least ONE game in a season, the phins should at least be able to win 5. I'm still thinking that the team will eke their way over .500. Especially if the line comes together and Feely stays in @ QB.

LOL, 0-16, are they serious? We'll finish about .500. Hell we're not far behind the Titans.

The sad thing is, even though they think we'll go 0-16...if we were to have a 8-8 season they'd still call it a disappointment (of course to me it would be).

Rich Kotite even won 1 game :hitself:

You know, I really REALLY hope this BS keeps up. It only adds motivation for the team to play well, OR really seals the deal for a new coach. Either way, I'll be happy.

Well it's up to the team to make all this stuff go away, go on a win streak, all talk ends. Stay on a losing streak, it gets worse.

Please.........they are just as hard on other teams when they are struggling.

If you can't see this team is in trouble your not looking hard enough.

Hard to even justify the sentiment with a response.

Realistic? If you look at our team and at our schedule, and factor in how we shut down one of the best passing attacks in the game, the new talent injected on offense, how can they make that comment? I think it's realistic to think this team can win 10-12 games. I know the folks outside of Miami will say that's crazy, but they're not looking at the team in detail.

1. Our defense is better than last years. Better. No question. You can say we miss Ogunleye, but I didn't see him lighting it up for Chicago last week and I saw Jay Williams and a handful of others step up and give us a nice rush that many thought would not be there against a VERY GOOD Titans Oline. We didn't have our best run stopper in there and we had a brand new Defensive tackle to replace him (Robinson) who will get better. You'll see those long run allowances corrected. Sam Knight needs to take better angles and he will.

2. On offense, they obviously didn't watch the game (go figure - their job is to comment on the teams and they don't even watch the game). The second half was a completely different game than the first. Feely and Gordon - two permanent starters - played very well. With a week of work in the starting unit, they'll be even better. The Oline looked good. We lost our top two backs in the game, our right tackle and our star FB was out to begin with. You don't think a healthy Konrad and a well versed Feely and Gordon are going to improve our team? Please.

This was like a preseason game. Not all of our permanent starters were in there and we had the QB change. This week should be different, and as soon as Konrad and McIntosh get in there, then you'll see what the offense is really capapble of.

I can't wait for Sunday night on ESPN no less when we show that very network how incredibly football-ignorant they really are.
