If he sits behind matt moore we obviously reached. The only eception is if they are holding him back because of our other holes on offense. I say let him get the reps if he is even close to being ready. I'd rather lose a few more games this year than have him get his experience while the rest of the team is ready to go.

I expect Garrad to win out the job if healthy.

I'm sure if Tannehill outshines Moore and Garrard he'll start but I'll leave that decision up to the coaches thats what they get paid for

I expect him to shine in the preseason because they only use part of the playbook in preseason. That being said, he should not start week 1 because he shined while using part of the playbook vs backups in preseason. Tannehill should sit for a year and learn NFL defenses.

You dont ever want to start a player just to justify a draft pick

After further thought, I must say, I am now changing my view - thus my vote. Tanne should sit out a year. It would actually be best for our squad in the long run: by the points raised in this thread. Give it thought if you voted, like I did, for him to start because of a solid preseason. He is a rook by golly...a year with clipboard in hand would be a better option. We have Moore. He can do the deed (well) this year...forget Tanne for now. 2013 will be our breakout year! 2012, for both the new coaching staff, new offensive philosophy (gelling), and the play of the new guys, will usher in 2013 with a force not seen down here since the Shula years.
