I know its just TC, But from the look of it, Beck is doing terrible and Lemon is doing just as well as Garrard in the Jaguars training camp, here are some exerts from the forums and a poster just like Ozzy. I was bored and decided to see how our cut players were doing.

-Richard Angulo somewhat redeemed himself from his less than stellar performance in the Saturday morning practice by making a great catch over the top on a deep sideline pass from Cleo Lemon.

-Cleo Lemon has quickly picked up the offense, and has improved his accuracy and timing considerably. He continues to make the plays that are demanded of him, and rarely makes a glaring mistake that would be cause for concern. Lemon does a good job of not trying to force a play where none exist

-Cleo Lemon continues to look fairly solid. He has nice touch on his deeper passes, although he clearly does not possess the same velocity on his fastball that Garrard does. However, he has a feel for putting the pass over the top particularly on the deeper sideline routes. He connected with Ryan Hogue on a deep sideline pass, going over Jamaal Fudge on the play to make a big gain.

-Cleo Lemon nailed John Broussard on a deep sideline pass. Broussard made a nice diving grab, then got up and tried to advance the ball. He was immediately put back down, and the hit started a very brief scuffle.

-Cleo Lemon showed some really nice accuracy on his deep passes, dropping a ball between Brian Iwuh and Scott Starks, putting the ball safely in John Broussard’s hands for a long gain.

-Lemon showed nice accuracy and touch on a deep pass down the sideline targeting Dennis Northcutt. Dennis was sandwiched in between Gerald Sensabaugh and Jamaal Fudge in very tight coverage. Lemon dropped the ball right in between the two defensive backs, and squarely in the hands of Northcut

-Cleo Lemon connected with Matt Jones on a deep post route. Brian Iwuh had Jones pretty well covered, but Lemon put the ball up high, and Jones made another one of his high grabs over the top of the coverage.\

-My point was that he has been rock solid on his deep passes for accuracy, better than any of the other 3 QBs right now.

However, I still believe Chad Henne will be quite good in the NFL in a couple years, so Good job with that Parcells.

In all due respect, I don't think anybody is mourning the end of the Cleo Lemon era here.

Thanks for the read. Glad he's continuing his development.
bahahaha...good one! This dude was a training camp, pre season stud all the way back to his San Diego days, unfortuneately it just never materialized into the regular season. He is a career back up at best, and I say that as one of the guys who was really pulling for him.

Wait is that the regular season that would be John Beck got excused for? That the team was so horrendous it would make any QB look pedestrian? Wait, no that cant be it, when Cleo came in, his team turned into Super Bowl Contenders.

We already saw what Cleo Lemon could do, for several years.

I don't see why this is even a post. I mean if a guy plays lights out somewhere else after he stunk here, how is the Dolphins' fault?

Some guys you let go will be good elsewhere. That's the whole point of cutting and signing guys.

What team he led looked like a super bowl contender?

Cleo is never going to lead anyone close to a super bowl. He should consider himself lucky if he finds himself a career backup.

What do you expect. Cleo Lemon is better than Beck. That still isnt impressive. Everyone is better than Beck. Cleo Lemon blows.

What is with the venom towards Beck, I know he is struggling but I think you would be pissed if he turns it around???
