Don't expect some big merger here or huge joint working relationship coming.
UFC is owned by ZUFFA. Which is 90% Fertitta brothers. 10% Dana White. (But Dana calls all the shots its part of his deal)
Pride is now owned 100% by the Fertitta brothers. NOT ZUFFA!
You may think its a small difference but in reailty its not. Dana White runs UFC. The Fertitta brothers have little to do with the acutal "product" according to the contracts that are signed. Example is the Fertitta brothers want to do tournaments on PPV's. Dana White doesn't that is why you haven't seen any. White has the stroke!
Esentially word is don't expect to see guys jumping back and forth between company's. PRIDE is the Fertitta brothers baby and their chance to do what THEY want away from Dana White. They said at most you will see 1 mega PPV a year with guys from both companies on it. But that's about as far as its gonna go.
