Once a year excitement choice: Christmas/Birthday or Draft Day?

Just wanted to see how people really felt about draft day, to me it is the absolute most exciting day of the year, better then Christmas morning and my birthday. What does everyone else think, and judging by the amount of people on this board right now that is way higher than normal I would say the excitement is pumping through some veins? Let me know what you think and as always go FINS!!!!!!

I agree. In life there are 3 things. Dolphins, sex and breathing!!!! Ask my ex wife what my only true love is and she'll say Dolphins football!!!

Christmas only if we are playing a game that has serious playoff implications or are at least still in the mix.

My birthday by far if we are happening to play a playoff game that day, as we did that year Marino lead two 4th qtr TD drives to beat the Chiefs 17-16. CLASSIC!

But, if we arent playing games on those days its draft day by far.

Most people that I know think I'm nuts for getting this excited by the draft. Some say that they'd rather watch paint dry. I can't help it tho.

The draft is better than the Superbowl to me because I know that every year The Miami Dolphins will be involved in the draft. Hopefully in the not too distant future, the Superbowl will have the same allure.

Should be some high flying excitment today with many trades and anxiety for all teams involved, I love watching people sweat and people getting surprised in that draft room, and of course every year the shot of the Jets fans getting pissed when they pick some random person. Hopefully they don't pick DMAC cuz I realy dont want to see him twice a year(knock on wood).

Christmas because sometimes the dolphins play.
My birthday usually lands on thanksgiving so I get to watch my fins sometimes.
Draft day because I get yell at the tv every time the fins pick.

this is the best day of the year [outside of opening day] we get to
see the building blocks of the team, the wheeling, the dealing, the
excitement, the anticapation..... its the best. NOTHING tops it
outside the bedroom.

christmas? bogus holiday, steeped in greed and AWFUL music!!

birthday? i know how old i am. and i dont need the reminder i am getting
old. i just count the grey hairs.
