Love the fact we got the win, but I am not sure they would have gone back to review this after the refs missed the call. They wold have reviewed whether Brown stepped out or not, but I doubt they would have gone back through the whole play to reveal they missed the fact that Big Ben threw the ball forward.

The refs have been pretty bad this year and it has cost us in a couple of our losses. This would have hurt the most as it would have pretty much killed our season.
 
look at Odrick lollygagging on that play...nice effort bro
 
No. They missed it. They let the play continue and the only saving grace was Brown stepping out.

Under normal challenge rules you can challenge whether it was a forward lateral or is a pass was thrown beyond the line of scrimmage. In this case, under 2 min, all reviews are from booth and the coaches have no say in that call. It would have been missed.
 
Its too close to call. You go by where the ball is and not where the QB is... The better question is... WTF is Vernon/Wake/Carroll doing on that play? All 3 look like they gave up. Maybe Vernon and Wake dont have a chance at the play... But Carroll certainly does... And i do think Wake could have made a play on it as well.

Good play by Jordan almost taking Ben down.
 
It looks like it went from about the 32.5 to the 33.
It is ridiculously close and I am not sure that it would have been overturned.
 
The league should really look at that - cuz that play as someone on another thread pointed out, grossly padded Ben's numbers ... and as such deflated those of our D.

Thanks, that's what I was Yelling as Brown ran into the endzone......the proof is there definitely a forward pass, I'm just glad we didn't need it.....

Naw..Your eyes are just deceiving you! Apparently, I'm completely wrong by saying the players gave terrible effort on that series.
 
I think Carroll was covering a throwback if it came the other way.

Wake, Vernon, Odrick...I would assume they were gassed, but I don't know. It all felt like it was happening in slow motion as it unfolded.

it is pretty much at the exact same spot the ball was released, there's no way that would have been overturned if he didn't step out.
