Guys, I know it looks pretty bad right now, and I know you can't walk around saying you're a Fins fan with your head held up high, but we really arn't that bad of a team. I know, I know, we are only as good as our record and whatever, but I think this is truely one exception to that saying.
We were one PI call, blown coverage play, and turnover from winning every single one of the games we have played in. Now I am not going to sit here and say we don't have a LOT of work to do in order to correct those mistakes that we have consistently made, but the truth is we're no Raiders. We are a talented team that just needs to find a rhythm. We need to find a way to not make that ONE crucial mistake that puts us out of the game.
There has been a lot of debate about who is to blame and whether its the offense or defense..I think its more about focus. FOr some reason we seem to lack focus for 60 minutes. We play well only to give it all up in half the time we played well during the game. Once this is fixed, we will immediately start winning games, regardless of our opponents.
My prediction: Once we start winning we will start winning big, like that win in San Diego last year, we will beat good teams and go for another streak...only this time, we still have a shot at 10-6 if we pull it together now.
