I know the jury is still out on what happened to Ricky. Maybe he failed the test. Maybe he just didn't show up for it or failed to communicate to the league his whereabouts. It matters very little which one it was. Either way, he didn't live up to his responsibilities. He had the responsibility of first, doing what it took to pass the test AND informing the league of his whereabouts and showing up on time. Evidently he couldn't be bothered to do those two little things.

This guy is 29 years old. He's a grown up now. Saban took a big chance on this guy. He put his trust in him to do the right thing. Ricky can act however he wants when he leaves the league. He is currently a Miami Dolphin. That's bigger than just him. He's embarassed his entire team and his coach.

If his appeal goes through and he isn't found guilty it still won't be enough. Maybe he shouldn't have gone to India. Maybe he should have stayed in the US or close enough to fulfill his responsibilities.

My thought is that he probably failed. Ricky's just a selfish guy. He wants to do what he wants and doesn't care how it affects the people that care about him and trust him. I was willing to forgive and forget him after last time. It took a lot for me and most of you to trust him again. But, that's it. I'll never trust this guy again. I'll never buy another Ricky Williams Jersey or even utter his name.

In the wise words of Tony Soprano....."He's dead to me."

Well said my friend. I'm done with Ricky. Like you said, doesn't matter if it's a failed or missed test, he didn't keep his end of the bargain. Thanks for the memories Ricky.

Like you said at the beginning of your post: the jury is still out. What happened may or may not have been selfishly motivated. Ricky worked awfully hard to get back into football this past season, get into playing shape, and help this team the way did, to KNOWINGLY just throw it away. Especially considering he knows what's at stake for him financially. He may not want to be rich, but he doesn't want to be a broke bum either. People can call Ricky anything they want to. Eccentric would qualify. But the man is far from stupid.

This I am inclined to agree with. I find it hard to believe Ricky would knowingly destroy all the hard work he did to get in the NFL again. I really hope that this may be some type of false positive. I guess time will tell.

lol, come on BD, we don't even know what really happened yet. Don't thow out the baby with the bath water.

:rolleyes2

Great point.....from a guy who is willing to give T.O. a chance to come wreck this team. Let me see, how does it go again? Once shame on him, twice shame on us? So in your opinion 3rd and 4th time you get a free pass? Don't get on your soapbox about Ricky being selfish, and uncaring and immature as long as you support the idea of T.O. coming here.

Let's wait until all the facts are in.
Nothing has been confirmed yet.
Ricky is a grown man and if he wants to smoke or do whatever, then thats okay. He only has to answer to one guy, himself.

No one knows anything yet. To watch so called fans act as judge, jury and executioner, operating on about 2% of the facts is by turns hilarious and rather pathetic.

YES! Thank you!

im telling u it was a supplement that gave him a false positive or innconclusive result. everyone is overreacting and ricky did nothing wrong.

of course i could be wrong, but imo ^^^ that is what will come out...wait and see.

i must be ricky's biggest fan, i havent given up on him.

I've only heard part of the "fool me once..." saying.

What comes after "fool me thrice" and "fooled me for a fourth time you crafty SOB"?

Don't start the so called fan crap. Nothing is more annoying than when a fan accuses other fans of not being true to their team. Everyone has a right to their opinion. Right or wrong, you have to respect it and can't say they are "so called fans" because you don't agree with their opinions.

I disagree with alot of opinions on this board as do many others. Yet I never accuse someone of not being a true fan.

What is Hilarious and pathetic is someone calling someone a "So called fan" when they put the team 1st rather than 1 player.

Seems to me some people are bigger Ricky fans than they are Dolphin Fans.

Ricky was the Worst move the Dolphins ever made.
Ricky = Regret
Ricky = I wish I had my two 1st round picks back
