Does Saban make changes to give some of the younger guys some playing time? I would like to hear peoples opinions now before it happens. I remember wanny's last full season(not the season he left in the middle) where we were eliminated from the playoffs going into the last week and he refused to give the younger guys a shot, he was stubborn as hell. Most of this was about sitting Fiedler for a game but there were other players too. Is Saban going to do the same thing or develop for the future?

Saban has alot more options imo, he could give more playing time to or start: Roth, vickerson, evans, allen, berger, alabi, lemon, and hagan.

Personally I would give the vets and the guys a listed above a 50/50 split in playing time. If you just flat out start the young guys you lose the veteran. I would hold a team meeting and tell the team how it is, they under performed this year and we need to see what these young guys got.

What scares me is I don't think saban will take this route, it is a golden opportunity to speed up the growth of this team, but I don't think saban sees it this way. It will be interesting to see what Saban does, but I think something drastic like this is completely out of the question, Unfortunately :(

i dont think the problem is going to be selling it to the vets. its gonna be selling it to the owner and fans. fans dont want to come to games to watch a bunch of rookies go through growing pains. and the owner is going to want butts in the seats. i think its going to have to be a very cautious balance if we decide to give younger guys a shot.

That long, huh?

Why do we wait until 9 games lost to play the younger guys?

If we're 2-11 again, you think anyone will show up? Maybe 30-40,000 but geez, in Miami, the stadium will be a ghost town

will be close to marlin's games.

Play the younger guys more but don't right out bench the veterans. They want to be on the field even if they're losing. Saban can swap more younger guys in and out and doesn't need to hold a press conference to do so.

Nick Saban is not only the most stubborn coach in the NFL, he is the most stubborn Miami Dolphins head coach of all time.

I say we decide first whos going to be our QB for the furure a.s.a.p

also we should trade/release the following at the end of this season unless they decide to play

-Travis minor- too small to carry the load and with Wes returning kicks Minor isnt needed

- A lot of O-lineman none of them have shown me anything

- Joey or Daunte whoever u decide to keep as your future QB cut the other 1

- Donnie Spragon- Get another dominit LB and that will help our D

Tavaras Tillman- he flat out sucks

and that about it

speak for yourself,me personally i would root the hell out of our rookies right now, they veterans we have are weak and refuse to put in on the line, they came to collect a check and live in south beach in the twilight of their career,i would be estatic if we trotted out a defensive lineup with taylor, evans, roth, traylor, vickerson,j allen starting, hagan at #2, ,i've been a big saban supporter but if these guys don't get playing time after our 9th loss , i'am gonna pounce on him like some of you guys on this site.
