Does Saban make changes to give some of the younger guys some playing time? I would like to hear peoples opinions now before it happens. I remember wanny's last full season(not the season he left in the middle) where we were eliminated from the playoffs going into the last week and he refused to give the younger guys a shot, he was stubborn as hell. Most of this was about sitting Fiedler for a game but there were other players too. Is Saban going to do the same thing or develop for the future?
Saban has alot more options imo, he could give more playing time to or start: Roth, vickerson, evans, allen, berger, alabi, lemon, and hagan.
Personally I would give the vets and the guys a listed above a 50/50 split in playing time. If you just flat out start the young guys you lose the veteran. I would hold a team meeting and tell the team how it is, they under performed this year and we need to see what these young guys got.
What scares me is I don't think saban will take this route, it is a golden opportunity to speed up the growth of this team, but I don't think saban sees it this way. It will be interesting to see what Saban does, but I think something drastic like this is completely out of the question, Unfortunately
