Now all of a sudden he is a nutjob and really isnt that good. As a player Marshall was a top 10 receiver but I have always said he had low character.
I have no problem with us trading him but two 3rd round picks just was just poor return for trade. There is no way you can spin that we got good value for him.
Im wondering who our target to replace him is and I very much doubt this was done to appease Manning. in fact with Wayne signing in Indy I think that says Manning will not be coming to Miami. I hope we have a plan because nothing about this trade speaks to we have a plan. Now some will of course say why make another thread about it, but just pointing out the way many of the posters flip the script at every turn. Say what you want about me but at least Im consistent.
The free agent receivers are being scooped up with reckless abandon so not sure we are going to get anyone of subtance in free agency. It does look like we are pursuing Flynn which is another sign we are out of race for manning. Our big wide receiver aquisition may be Laurent friggin Robinson. Not an awful player but far from one I would spend much money on. I guess we shall see. Rough start to day but we have alot of off season left so maybe we have a trick up our sleeve or get lucky on an underachieving player like Bush and they catch fire.

Seriously? What is with your insistence on always ripping on the fan base? Let it go for f*ck's sake...

Sooo...now you're turning on him?

You're the only one who said he was a low character mouth-breathing booger-eater lol?

:idk:

Never liked that dude.

Never wanted him here.

I feel ya dawg. Rough day indeed. Like u said, we have a lot of offseason left, we don't know what Miami was thinking, but I guess we'll find out soon enough...Ahhh im trying to obtain that optimism! hahaha

I believe we could have gotten more from him.

That being said, BM is a nutjob, and has always been one, but we have looked past it since he produces on the field (except when he drops TD passes.)

Since coming to Miami he has stabbed himself in the stomach from a vase and his wife's face appears to be a magnet for flying objects. Not to mention all the carnage he has inflicted on Chad Henne's fragile psyche.

I never turned on him. ALways thought he was a good receiver but a pitful person.

i wanted him here just bc of his potential, or i should say bc of what he did in denver. but the guy never did that for us. yea he made some plays. but he is a bear now so f'em. thats where he wanted to be anyway. i think im more pissed that we dont have a #1 any more

This is meant for the members of the board that continually go which way the wind blows on players. Say what you want Locke but Im not ripping the fanbase the people that do what I implied know who they are. You know what Im saying is true but of course since its me you cant admit it. Once again though nothing to add about a post except your usual

I liked Marshall alot and I still do to an extent. He was just never going to fit here unless we get an established qb. Matt moore threw him the ball every ****ing down and still the guy complained. He underachieved and we gave him a pass over and over again. Now that he is gone of course we are going to bring out his cons. He may become a hof in chi town but that was just not gonna happen here not now.

Im only irked we got such a crappy trade for him. So we trade 2 second rounders for a 2 year rental, he makes a pro bowl and we get less much less in return. I just wonder how the IRELAND LOVERS will spin this. Part of me is glad he is gone because I detest a cowardly woman beater but now we have another big hole to fill.

this incident not included, top WRs that are seen as locker room cancers do not go for much.

You know what the Eagles gave up for TO? Brandon Whiting and a conditional 5th round pick.

Santonio Holmes after his best season as a 25 year old? a 5th round pick

Braylon Edwards? a 3rd, 5th, Chansi Stuckey, and Jason Trusnick.

If you are seen as a cancer, you aren't getting a huge investment via a trade.

I never have turned on the Phins am still a fan, doesnt mean I have to applaud every damn move . I have been a fan longer than most people on this board and have every right to criticize my team especially what they have let it become acting like the playoffs is a foreign object that we should avoid. 4 of 5 losing seasons is not good in my book and if it is in yours then you need to raise your damn expectations. Also Im not really bothered you calling me a jerk but that could be construed as a violation of the tos . I could care less but just letting you know.

I have no problem trading Marshall, but get some ****ing value.

Well according to most he wasnt a cancer here but who knows what happens behind scenes. I predicted an implosion last year and maybe he did but not on field. From every indication he was pretty well liked by his teammates but like ai said maybe thats a front. He was much more of a cancer when we traded 2 second rounders for him so I guess ireland is not that great in negotiating a trade, just got lucky that NO was going to cut bush and got whatever they could for him.
