I can't even read ur junk for particular reasons. Any your wrong, Miami NEEDS 2 sign Manning and if we don't were ****ed. If we do or don't though I like Tannehill at 8 and for our number 1, idk, but I do know B Marshall is a d***, f*** him
 
:bobdole: Ahhh, I think everyone here KNOWS he was a very good receiver but a questionable person. You don't need to tell US that! I for one was upset that we got rid of him and for so little value. But who knows, maybe no one else wanted to give up more for a guy who's basically one incident away from being suspended for a whole year.

Seriously, he might not even suit up for the Bears next season if this "incident" is worth anything. Sure, you don't replace Marshall's talent, but maybe Philbin did not want to put up with him. I'm just hoping all of this working towards changing the attitude of this team, and hopefully for the better.
 
Someone yesterday said "At 4:01 everything will be clear". New coach, new philosophy. Compensation sucks, it is what it is.

I have no problem with us trading him but two 3rd round picks just was just poor return for trade. There is no way you can spin that we got good value for him.
Im wondering who our target to replace him is and I very much doubt this was done to appease Manning. in fact with Wayne signing in Indy I think that says Manning will not be coming to Miami. I hope we have a plan because nothing about this trade speaks to we have a plan. Now some will of course say why make another thread about it, but just pointing out the way many of the posters flip the script at every turn. Say what you want about me but at least Im consistent.
The free agent receivers are being scooped up with reckless abandon so not sure we are going to get anyone of subtance in free agency. It does look like we are pursuing Flynn which is another sign we are out of race for manning. Our big wide receiver aquisition may be Laurent friggin Robinson. Not an awful player but far from one I would spend much money on. I guess we shall see. Rough start to day but we have alot of off season left so maybe we have a trick up our sleeve or get lucky on an underachieving player like Bush and they catch fire.

This.

Playing out what happened with the incident would have been worth more than 2 #3's. Marshall was the first solid threat at WR we've had in over 15 years. We knew he was a head case...

Ireland pulled a good trade. Now everyone will praise Ireland in light of the circumstances, and why not?

So then don't get rid of him, because he is worth more for the team. Deal with the incident and suspension if it comes bc you still have an elite WR and not another glaring hole. Also, because you knew what you were getting when you traded for him to begin with.

No, instead dump him for 2 #3's bc he may be suspended for 4 games? Bad move.

When Philbin is working with Hartline and bess...we will see how happy Philbin is getting rid of him.

And there is no way in hell its a "very good move" to get rid of a probowl WR. Desperate yes.

Bad post, good move.

This team is tired of dealing with his crazy ****. Philbin is used to coaching guys who WANT to be good players and stay out of trouble. You want to bring a first year coach in here and have him deal with Marshalls crazy ass? No way man. Philbin is going to help Ireland get good players that play hard for us. This is a good move for our team and the locker room in general. Marshall was constantly fighting with our QB's, CONSTANTLY. You think they want to bring in Flynn or Manning and force them to deal with that crap? No way man.
Yeh i'm drinking the kool aid, and it's damn tasty, cold and goes down smooth on a hot South Florida day.
