For every type of post on this site, please everyone remember ONE game is the whole season, if the same thing happens consistently then you can say that's how it's going to be. For every type of thread, dolphins related or not it's week 1, give the season a chance before you start making claims that aren't correct. The NFL season is based on consistency, and it is 16 games not 1. Sorry just had to get that off my chest after reading so many posts on this site.
 
Thank you.... There are alot of people who expect to win every singe game... anf if we dont they find a reason why everything sucks.. I'm not saying be homers... but be realistic
 
I think we got it by now.

Not trying to be mean or anything but there have been more of these threads then there have been hate threads.

I'm not dissing on you at all because it's actully nice to see we still have some good loyal fans. But there has been a boatload of these threads.
 
we got beat by the sb champs at home! cpep was in position to win it at the end (he didn't) if he doesn't get better, we're sunk. But that was the whole dolphin superbowl fantasy to begin with. I think CPEP will improve and we will do better. As he goes, we go.
 
dat's cool but we need some work,we have all da tool's, we need some time 4 it all come together

Nicely said. Last year we sort of lived and died by the QB as well. (Frerotte cost us a couple of games IMO and when Frerotte/Rosefels played well we did well.) A lot of our success depends on #8.

he played 55 min. of good football. so he doesn't have that far to go.

I want to address every thread like carnell williams is a backup cpepp sucks all of them not just for the dolphins losing. I want to say if it happens every game for more than 1 game then I agree, but if not then don't say it's the truth because it's one game that's all.
 
the dolphins will be fine, everyone in the media is not making too much of it only we are, we will be fine
 
The one loss in the 1st week did not make that great of an impact with me.. in fact, I predicted the Phins to lose against the Steelers.. Since my opinion really only matters to me... the team is still on schedule towards making the playoffs...

So needless to say.. its not the final score I'm concerned about, its the way the team lost. When the game kicked off and at the start of the 1st quarter, both teams were playing with emmotion and lots of energy, but towards the end of the 1st quarter, the Steelers starting to out perform the Phins and that trend continued on the rest of the game.

In the last 5 minutes of the game, it was obvious to see the Steelers dominated the game, dominated the line of scrimmage (both sides) and the Steelers defense totally dominated our offense. The Phin players looked (to me) like a defeated team that just wanted to get the game over with..

For those of you that hoped for a team that can/will win the division and make the playoffs, congradulations, the Phins can and probably will do that.. For those of you that are like me and wont be satisfied until we win the Super Bowl... then the first game of the season was a crushing blow, because its clear the Dolphins are not a Super Bowl bound team..
 
Yep, half the teams are gonna be 1-0 and half 0-1....can't get worked up over one game. We just better beat the crap out of the Barfalo Bills on Sunday. :wink:
