Say what you will about Ireland and the insulting way he handled the interview but he made the right move in bypassing on Dex Bryant. This first class creep is in trouble again. And yes, bad parenting resul,ts in troubled kids which leads to troubled adults.

Ireland has made many good moves other than the "hooker" thing.
A source with knowledge of the situation tells Profootballtalk.com that Dez Bryant was not arrested or charged in connection with an alleged "physical altercation" at a Miami nightclub over the weekend.
According to WFAA-Dallas, Bryant was "in a fight and detained" by Miami Police on Sunday night. The incident led to no criminal accusations. While Bryant doesn't need to get into any further trouble, he appears to have avoided legal wrongdoing. The 23-year-old receiver caught 63 balls for 928 yards and nine touchdowns in 2011, setting career highs across the board.
regardless of his off field incidents , dez will be great. michael irvin 2.0
R U 4real? Bryant is a barrel of headaches.quote from the link...
"Again, it is important to remember that these latest allegations have not been confirmed, so it is possible this latest incident ends up being nothing."
This kid's bad news, but in his defense, being the son of a pimp and an incarcerated crack ho is a lot of environment to overcome. It's no coincidence a top 5 talent plummeted into the 20s. Conversely, IMO Ireland's worst moves were having to have Ross step in to kill that Orton trade nonsense and trading up for an oft-injured RB instead of grabbing Mallett.
regardless of his off field incidents , dez will be great. michael irvin 2.0
Because of his off-field incidents, he will be Michael Irvin 2.0
thats what i meant
He's such an impact player and was so instrumental in propelling the Cowboys into the playoffs this yr:rolleyes2:
Wait! What????
The ONLY things Dez Bryant and Michael Irvin have in common:
Uniform
Position
Trouble
Incredibly bad command of the English Language.
The media here in Dallas is already talking about a blown draft pick
The kid has had 2 years now, although he was injured for part of that.
He has had 2 or 3 very nice plays... in that time.
He has been borderline trouble in a handful of situations here in Dallas already.
He has the PERFECT opportunity to shine this year, yet they bring in Laruent Robinson instead and he picks up where Bryant should've when Miles Austin went down.
I loved Dez Bryant coming out. Boy was I wrong. Ireland did us good by not picking Bryant.
