one hell of a year? can it really be?

so Sam adams, Drew Brees, terrel owens, Bentley or mawae and a LT in fa and not inclusding secondary or lb position? now thats one hell of a offseason w/out the draft as well.

ok...and if it happesn then what? i better see a nice apology. did you gusy expect last year to sign jones? schulters? traylor? carter? holliday? frerrote? RB? CC? roth? daniels? how many new players is taht right there? a **** load and it costed us a lot of money but we got it done right? how many would have said that is impossible? i bet 99% of you would have said that or said this isn't madden. so plz, dont say its impossible.

The thing is that all of those guys weren't that expensive except Carter. We'd be lucky to get 2 of the guys you mentioned.
 
I still wanna draft 4 straight defensive backs in the draft cuz there seems to be some bad db's in the market....this team is gonna be solid

SR, I agree we will have to bring in a few key vets to help with our team before we draft. BUT, all of these guys you listed arn;t gonna come cheep. With all the problems that the cap is causing us right now, it will be hard to bring in just one of them. I sure hope it is Brees. Anymore than that we will have to cut alot more players. I am against T.O. in a dolphins uniform, Adams is old, and we have enough old D-linemen, and I think the eagles are gonna get Bently. It will be interesting to see who we do go after, and how creative we get in signing them, and who we do have to let go for cap reasons

We havent signed one of them yet, so why are you all excited?

ok and who are the expensive ones this time? brees sure, owens? i doubt he'll be too expensive we can work something out wiht him for sure due to his actions and bentley might be the BIG one right there but we'll see tahts why i put OR mawae.

gus will be gone once Brees comes here i am pretty sure and we will prob draft a QB to be our 2nd or 3rd depending on lemons if he stays or maybe its even that berlin kid. we do have enough old d linemen but we WILL i am sure sign adams as he is 4 yrs younger then traylor and he will eb a stop gap not a player to stick around for long. we have to patch holes while we build via fa with young players and draft mainly or else we will have unexperienced and unproven players on our team tahts why age wont matter TOO much for the next year and the one following that. that is why BB did in NE. he brought in consistent vets taht can play teh game day in and day out to patch holes but they made a few dumb offseason moves with their CB situation as they said in an article.

I agree with you totally, I know we have holes that need to be filled, but I think Nick wants to build his kind of team. Maybe a few vets, but young, fast guys they can groom.
