Firstly, i want to thank you all for your comments on that Ricky issue, folks. Especially to those ones who didn’t give up next season because of one sad and moronic decision of our former idol…. History teaches us, that they come and go and we can whine as much as we please about giving up two 1st round picks, but we can change anything, quit second-guessing it, didnt we think it was an incredible steal a week ago? What we can (and should do) is wait for season and support our team as we used to do.

The only really bad thing about that is allowing all that Sills/Pets/NotYets scum to make some fun and have some champagne. Let's congratulate them and ask to shut up or go f*** anybody else's brains. Well, they laugh fine, let’s wait and see can their team play as good as they laugh…
Well, there are a lot of morons among them (but not 100%, which surprised me a lot to be honest), but come on… do you really expect them to be smart? :-)

Lets wave Ricky, wish him to make next Dalai Lama and get back to our own business. We will be around come Sept 12th.

look forward, not backward

Best thing to do is remain positive. We're lucky we always have a competitive team. Our defense has always kept us in games the last 6-7 seasons, so there's no reason to expect them to come out flat (the opposite I expect, knowing they'll be required to exert more pressure due to our offensive loss). Let's start by getting Ogunleye signed.

Positives- we have plenty of cap room now...we added some very good O-line players that will probably take half a season to gel but should be very good for the second half...we added a potentially great wideout in Boston, who can create size & speed mismatches (size is guaranteed, speed if he drops to ideal weight)...minor is not a 25 cpg back, so we finally get to see the ball aired out a bit utilizing Chamber's speed (who wants eddie "3 yds-per-carry" george anyway?)...we have 2 QB's that can start, and a 3rd stringer that can throw better than the other 2...a coach on the hot seat, which usually fires up a team...

I say we add a veteran RB who bangs up the middle 8-10 carries a game and gives the team a morale boost, and see how it falls into place. No sense in writing the team off as some are quick to do. Ricky was important but not the entire team. It's all about Wanny and the boys using their head now and designing another dozen plays on O to move the ball in big chunks rather than pound it. Spread it wide like the f 'in Pats/Jets do and create mismatches. Line up Boston in the TE spot. Give Konrad a few more carries to change it up. Work with what you have! There's no pressure this year now! Err, except for Wanny...

As far as personal things go with Ricky- we can all speculate about his reasons, we can listen to the critics that know just as much as we do, or we can just say "thanks for 2 good years and best wishes finding what you want in life" and move on. Hey, it's 2 more good years than we've had in 2 decades by a RB. Forward & Positive. After all, you're a Dolfan for Life.
