if you had your way and could bring in any player that actually has a shot of being released or cut or perhaps even traded for who would that player be and why ?
i want to say a top receiver would make a big difference right now between a 3or4 win season to a 7 or 8 win season.i say we grab henry and give him the change he neads what do we have to loose:up:
 
I hope you are not talking about Henery the WR from the Bengals. If so what is the point of signing a player that was just suspended indefintley by the NFL. Goodell is going to come down very harsh on him and he may not play in the NFL anytime soon, so it would be pointless to sign this player.

What do we have to lose? Fines and future draft picks, if we sign Henry and he still continues to get in trouble. Based on Goodell new conduct policy NFL teams are now responsible for their players's behavior and could face fines and the loss of draft picks based on their players conduct. So why take this risk on this trouble maker, even if he could play in 2008?

Nobody knows who will be cut so it's hard to say.. however, i am hoping for a veteran CB to be released.. as far as a trade, i'd be willing to drop JT and a 5th or 6th for Lito Sheppard.. i know that has been beaten to death, but regardless of what people may think, we need another CB with how much rock tot'n goes on these days. and a solid starter (overrated or not) Lito would significantly upgrade our secondary, possibly solidify it if Bell and Allen play to their capabilities.
 
dooh i stand corrected on henry i was not informed about his suspension but i think you guys are missing the point of the post .who would YOU like brought in to miami to make us a better team in 08 and stop with the wich huntung im not the enemy(jets fan) im a fellow fins fan
 
It is possible that Sinorice Moss may get released from the Giants. He would be a good pickup to add depth to the WR position. If the Giants do not release Moss, they will have to release another one of their talanted WR's.

I disagree. I think with Lito's injury history JT for him straight up would be a fair trade. I wouldn't throw on a pick as well.

Yes! Most definitely!! A NT especially. God forbid, if Ferguson gets hurt or doesn't play well, we'll be seriously screwed. We'll probably be forced to run more 4-3 D.
