Jets fans sound very worried that Manning may end up with the Phins. Here are some excerpts from a thread on Gang Green. Making Jets fans wet the bed is one more reason to want Manning to end up with us (not that we needed another one).

-------------
The biggest problem is that Miami will most likely land manning, we will have the 4th best qb in the division! And the 3rd beat team.
-------------
Whoever gets Manning is instant contenders. I can guarentee you Peyton is more determined than he has ever been in his entire life. A year away from football probably made him realize his times running out, and he has to get another championship now.

I expect him to put up monster numbers wherever he lands. Another thing is, if the Dolphins do land him, I believe the Jets would be forced to draft Trent Richardson because without a run game, Brady and Manning will be on the field a ton.
-------------
Cosign, we cant let Manning go to Miami, even if it means we have to sign him. If Manning goes there, we arent touching the playoffs for the next 3 years at least.
-------------
I agree 100%
-------------
Peytons fine, he rarely gets hit. Yesterday there was a video of him throwing Bombs at the Duke practice field. He looked good to me, and its still only March. Training Camp doesnt start till July. He will be 100% by then if he isnt already.

I believe a year off will revive some youth in him to. Im sorry we just cant let him go to the Dolphins period. It would be a complete nightmare, and to all the people that want him to go there so we can injure him need to get real. The guy never missed a game in his life till last year for a reason. He avoids hits.
-------------
It's true, we absolutely can NOT let Peyton go to the Phins. The Jets would be legitimately f**** for three years if two of the GOATs were playing in the same division as us.

Not to mention that the Jets ain't winning s**** with Sanchez. Sanchez is a d*** and largely responsible for our disaster of a season last year. So if we plan on winning a SB sometime soon, we might as well grab one of the best ever and prevent our in-division rivals from getting him while we're at it.

Hilarious. Peyton is a classy top tier QB that plays from the heart... It's the one thing that we have that they don't...heart, miles and miles of heart.

I really dont see how any of those Jets fans think that Manning to New York makes any sense. smh everytime someone suggest that they might be a drak horse or good fit for Manning I cant help but laugh. I couldnt think of very many worse places for Peyton to play. Its the opposite of a good fit.

Anyways gotta love them sweating it even if we dont get him, just goes to show you we really are just a good QB away!!

It's gonna be priceless to see the reaction to all the skeptics lol especially Greenburg haha

Poor Sage, the originator of the Dolphins number 18. Now hes out of work and we can possibly land the best number 18. Think of Sage guys think of Sage. PAUSEEEEEEEEEE

I want Manning so bad! I would take Manning with a broken neck and 2 broken arms over any other QB we had after Marino! Peyton is CLASS! And now that Eli just won his 2nd, you know he wants to 1 up him and win 2 in 3 years. And doing in Miami boy! If we sign him we have to with out question draft a right tackle. WE HAVE TO GUYS!!! I know a lot of you want a reciever or RB, but we have to improve this line if we sign him. 8th pick is perfect for a studed RT!

Oh and Reggie said he would love to return home to Miami and play with Manning in Miami! That is huge because Peyton is so loyal to his guys. Philbin COY?

I'm a Dolphins fan. Want what's best for the team.

Whiny Jets fans are none of my concern.

Eff 'em.

LOL. JCane is so right. He's always right... I love JCane. I don't think he's ever been wrong with any post he has ever made IMO.

is always a great feeling when something that we do bothers the jets fans.....lol

Ozzy rules!!

When you finish drooling, wipe you chin...lol

Jets suck. If manning comes to Miami he will fit right in with the "west coast" offense that Coach Philbin runs. I am not to worried about our O-line because we know they are going to up grade the right side and with Manning he always gets the ball out fast and in a spot where only his receivers can catch it. Give him a full off season with our receivers and throw in R.Wayne, then we have an offense that is damn near unstoppable. This is something I could of only dreamed about playing Madden, lets see if it comes to life.

I am not worried at all, I'd rather he goes to Miami than comes to us. The average fan that gets wowed by big names will want peyton but to me the worst case is he makes you better for 2012, you make the playoffs and lose early. That doesn't bother me, if you build around a young QB you could have someone to torment us for a decade- that scares me.

Peyton at his peak and 100% healthy which much more talent around him than he'd have in Miami struggled to win in January- why would a guy headed to thre twilight of his career coming off major injury, playing in a new system for the first time in forvere be able to lead Miami(or the Jets) to a SB? You guys getting Peyton does not scare me in the least. It would be annoying w/ all the dolphins media coverage w/ Peyton but I can live w/ that.
