One more reason to want Manning

haha wowwwww

the definition of a gift was the 09' Jets and Manning letting them in, you have to be kidding me,

and Favre? really? Favre played in 16 games injured or not, every NFL player is playing with some sort of injury, fact is favre and the jets choked more than Sanchez and the Jets did last year, and both last games of the season with still some hope left, guess what team eliminated the Jets 100% both times.....oh yea the Dolphins

jets in 2009 win 2 playoff games and got to the afc title game

2008 dolphins win the division get a home playoff game and then get destroyed by baltimore

jets playoff wins since 2000- 6
dolphins playoff wins since 2000- 0 (last time dolphins won a playoff game michael jordan was playing baseball)

I wouldnt call repeatedly losing AFC championship games doing more than squat.

It always cracks me up when Jets fans brag about losing(the fact that the Giants repeatedly succeed makes it all the more hilarious) those games. It would be no different then Bills fans jumping in here to brag about losing 4 straight Superbowls.

if there was still a Thanks button i would thank you, been saying it to all the delusional jets fans, they brag about LOSING back to back title games, and like you said if, if thats something to brag about constantly, the Bills 4 straight Super Bowl losses make them the greatest NFL franchise ever

Jets lose back to back AFC title games....

Dolphins go to back to back to back Super Bowls and win 2 in a row out of 3....

i know jets fans have low expectations, but what is the ulitimate goal of a NFL season, to win a Super Bowl, not win playoff games, Jets didnt even make it to the Super Bowl but jet fans like you make it seem like winning the divisional round of the playoffs is equivalent to winning a Super Bowl, get over it and move on and realize you just went 8-8 and the team is in disaray

The funny thing is I've seen a good amount of Patriots fans who want him in Miami. Some don't, but some do because they want to see the Jets fall down the ladder and Rex squirm.

the ultimate goal is to win a superbowl but the dolphins and jets havent done that in a long time so in comparing the 2 teams, playoff wins is where it is at

face it the dolphins have been a loser franchise for nearly 20 years now while the jets continue to be a contender every year

if you take out 1999 2003 2005 and 2007 when the jets starting qb got hurt the jets have been a perennial contender in the league every year

We'll see how "superior" the Jets are with Meatball running the offense in Joizey!

sparano isnt terrible

his offense from his cowboy days was pretty good

ireland and the dolphins lack of any real offensive talent outside of marshall was the real problem although dolphin fans wont admit it

that's awesome, you are celebrating Colts championships where Peyton threw 3 TDs and 7 INTs in 4 postseason games now?

He and INDY won it all. How have things been in NY/NJ lately?

he called the run plays in Dallas, funny how when Sparano was with the Dolphins he sucked, but when he goes to the Jets he "isnt terrible"

referencing his cowboy days, because the Jets offense resembles that great cowboy offense in anyway lol

no OC can help Sanchez from looking like a deer in headlights when their is any sign of pressure and his first read isnt wide open leading to him telegraphing a pic 6 to thedefense

wow your really going back far there.....2009....gas was a nickel back then

so convenient you reference the year the Jets made the playoffs again

Spin Meister at his finest

hmmm if superior is 8-8, what was the Packers 15-1 season?

You guys love to whine about "spinning" when the facts are against you. How is it spinning to post the 3 years Rex and sanchez have been here? In those 3 years no team has won more playoff games- that's a fact as is no team has made as many conf title games.

so he called the run plays? and you are talking about spin? the year he called plays they were a top 5 offense.

Tony isn't coming here as a HC, he's coming as an OC. I don't have any idea how he will do but we have talent and if he can get that OL to improve we'll have a good O.

Rex: 1 legitimate winning season out of 3 - and even then with a backdoor entry (the way that self-described "bi-curious" tub o lard likes it)
Sparano 1 legitimate winning season out of 3 with a division championship.

Maybe Tony should be the HC and Rex his DC :idk:

Just ask Dolphinland how terrible he is. Three straight losing seasons and a consistently ranked bottom of the barrel offense in those seasons isn't terrible? Boy, Jets fans have another thing coming! lol

Anyone who thinks that highly of Snatchez shouldn't be allowed to comment on any other QB. It's just disrespectful...

These last 12 years has been some of the worst in Dolphins history (1-15 in 2007) and the Jets only have 3 more playoff appearances and 7 more regular season wins. 2 of the Jets playoff appearances came from a 9-7 record while the Dolphins missed the playoffs twice with a 10-6 and 9-7 record.

What do the Jets have to show for those playoff wins? In the last 12 very bad years, the Dolphins have the same amount of AFC East championships that the Jets have had in their entire history. I agree that the ride is more fun as a fan when you make the playoffs and win games, but when you come up short, no one else cares.
