One more year

I am not sure what the answer is but i hate watching the way we played the last 2 games, i think the team lacks vocal leaders as Tannehill seems to be like Philbin in a quiet calm state all the time.

Good thinking, shrewd. We might want to consider giving them just one more year after that. After all, stability is the most important thing for success, if we give incompetent individuals enough time the light bulb will eventually turn on and we will dominate.

This is a board of overreaction, and little patience, even though what you said make sense in the football organization sense, I am sure there will be many who's head will explode once they read that. :lol:

I hear that Philbin told Sherman to abandon the run.
I hear Sherman is really the one running the team.
I hear all kinds of things about this looney staff

So done with it. Get em all out and let them "make it work" somewhere else with their Go-Don't Go offense.

how many years are people willing to sit back and say,"just give them one more year"?

i knew by year 3 that ireland couldnt draft. he had NO BIZ being a gm, especially a personel man. so many times its not so much the player he picks, its where he picks them [but he does miss on players].

ireland was supposed to be do or die THIS YEAR!. he had the jackpot as far as gm-ing goes. mega cash available. lots of draft picks. qb in place. and he couldnt have blown it any more with liberace's lips!!

he blew it all, the owners millions, the draft, and then handed the new coach a worse team than he had the year before!!!

so why another year? ireland cant change his spots. the team will show some weekness he didnt plug and we will lose because of it next year as he has done in ALL the past years.

he and boss ross jumped right out after parcells was gone and dropped the whole load on him. they said NOW everyone will see how we do, without bill. and they blew it worse than any owner/gm combo has in the history. they blamed other people and all they showed was just what parcells said, IRELAND RUNS HIS OWN DRAFT AND MAKES HIS OWN PICKS!! parcells said that he put the emphasis on pat white but other than that he let ireland do his thing. and ireland has shown what bill said was true. irelands draft was WORSE than any of the ones before with BP in the house.

ONE MORE YEAR? REALLY?

how many years are the IRELAND supporters willing to keep going. LETS HAVE A NUMBER!! were going on year 6. how many more are you IRELAND SUPPORTERS willing to wait?

7 years? 10 years? 15?

this year everyone is blaming the kicker. oohhh, if he would have made this kick, we would be in the show! next year it will be something else. and the following year some other excuse.

so again, IRELAND SUPPORTERS, HOW MANY YEARS? whats the number?
 
Why prolong this another year. I guarantee it's a housecleaning one year from now.

So that's how this is not win win. This is another delay of what needs to happen to actually move forward.

you gaurrantee it huh?

Let me throw some intagibles to dispell another 8-8 team.

1. Fix the oline.
2. Wallace another full offseason with his QB with the sack problem half solved and they start hitting long early and often.
3. Draft the big kid from Washington TE in Sefarian Jenkins. Trade down a bit and pick up another pick.
4. Tannehill does his film study and discovers how much he did wrong.
5. Dion Sims takes a big step in this offense.
6. We get Legarrett Blount or Ben Tate in FA.

Keep the defense somewhat in tact resigning Grimes, Carroll and Soliai and hope and pray the Ellerbe and Wheeler play just 20% better.

Then dont play any starters in preseaon so some f'n rookie blows up the knees of any of our players.
