Here is my thinking on a few things that need to take place.

I think we should go after porter pretty hard. I love his ability and our LB corps would just be sick with him. From the sounds of things, we are targeting him pretty good. My hopes are that we can sign him. I think the OLB position is crucial to getting filled. this would lead to the draft day..

9th overall we take landry. Put him and bell at the two safety spots. move jason allen back to corner where he belongs.
With every pick after this we could go offensive if we wanted to.

Bell and Landry at S.
allen and daniels at CB
porter, thomas, crowder ??? at LB
taylor, wright, roth DL.

We could than shoot for as many offensive players as we wanted to, or draft for some serious depth on both sides of the ball.

We don't have a chance at QB in the first unless we trade up which I pray we don't do. We can fill LT, C and a backup QB in any round after the first.
It looks like we are on our way to getting some compensatory picks as well, with the way we are loosing free agents.

So far I am impressed with the housecleaning going on. I do think we are about done cutting people though. Now it's onto signing one big name FA and draft time.

Both scenarios could very well happen. If Levi Brown and the WR's after CJ aren't worth the #9 pick, then maybe we look to drafting Landry.
