I'm not guarenteeing any wins and you can see in the title that I'm saying not will, but SHOULD.

If New England loses just one game to either the Broncos or Bengals. (Which I think is almost a certainty.) Then we will have a first place showdown with Pats in week 5. (Also, considering the Bills or Jets aren't going to be there in the end.)

Now, I know there will be all kinds of people coming in here saying how horrible we look and everything. But look, those games are over. Things can change in a hurry in any circumstance. We still have a load of talent and very much so should be 2-2 going into week 5. I'm not guarenteeing wins, but my point is, the oppertunity is there.

So let's all stand by our Fins and root them to many victories this season. I am still calling playoffs for this team. I am a believer that this is a wake up game, and we will get this garbage fixed.

I think your a little bit ahead of yourself buddy.

the standings currently read as:
Patriots 2-0
Jets 1-1
Bills 1-1
Dolphins 0-2

there are two teams in between you and the first place pats

I may be, but I just don't think the Bills have the offensive weapons and the Jets don't have a whole lot either. I still will take the Fins over the Bills and Jets any day of the week. The Bills caught the Fins during what will be their worst game of the year.

miami may have some nice weapons in McMichael, Chambers, Brown and Daunte, but as long as Mike Mularkey is running your offense, it may not help

look, looking ahead has gotten the team in trouble....right now im looking at tennesse and beating them, on ALL aspects of the game, executing correctly and making good plays. Take it week by week seriously and good results will come, lets get 1-2 before we can get ahead of ourselves becasue if we have another "wake up call" we wont be in the playoffs or even close to it with a 0-3 start, not only because of the record but because of the attitude of the team.

plain and simple, lets go 1-2 now.

we are the worst team in the afc east!!!!! and we will prove it !!!!

I Agree!

The worst thing we could do as a team right now is look ahead to the Pats game. Let's just worry about taking care of business against Tennessee. We had 10 days to game plan and prepare for Buffalo and we blew it. Let's not waste the 6 days we have to prepare for Tennessee by looking ahead.

Except yesterday?

What a homer...your QB looks completly inept, your coaching staff is pathetic, and you have, maybe, 5 talented players (Chambers, McMike, Brown, Taylor, Thomas) ...thats it...the rest are role players that didn't seem to "get it" in the words of Saban.

Why do you "take" the fins...who's so talented that you're unshaken after a crap start?

i agree with you 110%, ive been saying the same exact thing all day...and im on the same page as you man i dont want to be looking too far ahead and get my hopes up to high only to be let down but for the people saying we are already out the same case could be made that they are looking to far ahead i mean its only week 2 and yea we have played horrible but its not like we dont have the talent that we were all excited to see this year on the field....the truth of the matter is that at the end of the day the division will come down to the miami and NE, and i know this is going to dissapoint a lot of the bills and jet fans but the truth is that the jets have way to hard of a scheadule to keep up with and are still a young team, the bills cant get to carried away with their win because there was really nothing worse that could of happened for the dolphins and lucky for them they caught us on what was most likely our worst game since the 04 campaign, and for the dolphins we still have an easy scheadule to work with and in no way am i saying we are going to win all those games but we atleast have a legit chance to get back in this thing

Umm yeah. Lets just try and win a game before we start even thinking about first place. And if you didnt notice, we just lost to Buffalo at home, so to try and assume that Miami will be at the top of the division is nuts at this point. The next game on the schedual, for here on out is the most important game on the schedual. Thats how we have to look at it, and see where it gets us.

Mularky is pathetic, i'll give you that, but to try and lump the whole coaching staff in there...well you would be wrong. And to say Miami has only 5 talented players is....well,also wrong.

Mularkey is pathetic, but what did Capers do that was so great...... we played ultra conservative and ran 2:1 yet it took 3 quarters to adjust to it. And Saban is suposedly pulling the strings..... he's back to .500.

Who else is a star on your team? Who is more than a role player? I'm not even talking about yesterday when nobody was noticable except Ronnie......

I believe the AFCE can be won in 9 games this year. If you look at this in different terms the Dolphins are 14-2 on the year. This gives the phins a gap of 5 games from being potentially eliminated. Hope for 3-1 the next 4 games and get back to .500. The season has only started and if your counting the Dolphins out you might as well count out the Panthers, who also are starting 0-2. CPEP will adjust to the terriable OLine and a easy scheduale will put the Dolphins back in contention.
