Just want to note something. And this isn't an excuse for Ray playing poorly for the most part, but it does contribute to it.

Our defense has not created ONE, no NOT ONE turnover in these last 3 games. 3 games without a turnover? That's hard to do even if you tried. Even defenses like the Bills do better than that. They may not be giving up many points, but they aren't helping the offense get any points either by giving us bad field position. They also haven't had many 3 and outs, and that keeps the other team's defense well rested which makes it harder on the offense.

Our defense may bend, not break, but they are starting to bend too much. The defense is always who fires up the entire team, and they haven't made a big play to fire everyone up. It's hard to win the turnover battle when you don't force one. Even with Brett Favre at QB, I wouldn't expect him to go all game and not have his offense turn the ball over once, let alone 3 games.

Well we did have one pick vs. the pack, But I know what you are saying. The D needs to get us some TOs.

Well said. I was watching a few minutes of Monday Night Countdown and they were heaping praise on Bulger. Showing how he goes through his progressions, looks off receivers......but he also had a day and a half back there on the throws they illustrated. Plenty of time for receivers to come open, find them, hell, on one he could have boxed the football and sent it Fedex for all the pressure he had.

Our O-line has been pathetic the last few games. Not even Favre, Montana, Elway, or Dan would succeed when the d-line runs through the wet paper bag of pass protection.

I don't think it has played well since that Kansas City game. It looked good the first two weeks or so, but since then it has been looking like ****.

BTW, we did have a pick against GB? It musta been after we were getting killed, because I don't remember it, lol.

Surtain with his hackey sack INT in the endzone. I can understand not remembering......the past 3 games have been forgettable.

one thing nobody has mentioned...........

before mucus took over, the fins were scoring 30 points per game, in all three games he has started, we scored 10, just 10 lousey points. now i know there were a couple we should of had last night, but thats just NJ, its pretty pathetic if you ask me. sage must really be bad if wanny doesn't even think about putting him in! WHAT IN THE HELL DO THEY HAVE TO LOSE, THE GAME???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!what in the hell has been going on for the last three weeks?!

The thing about our lack of turn overs that many people wont see is you tend to get more turn overs when you are winning a game. When a team is losing they tend to take more chances; thus, giving the defense a window to put their foot in. Over the past 3 games we have been ahead of our opponet for 1 drive. That is it about 5 mins in the past 180 we have been leading. Buffalo shut down their offesne after 2 quarters just so we couldn't get a chance to take the game over with turn overs. The Jets just played smart knowing our offense couldn't score they played pretty conservative in the whole game. They did tak some shots deep, but you notice that even those passes went to man on man coverage and were thrown to far so only the WR could possibly make a play on it. On the other hand the 5 games we won with the exception of the Denver we lead the whole way, and we averaged +3 in turnovers each of those games.

lol we did have that one INT
if ray didn't give the friggin ball away, we ouldn't need turnovers. we've lost 3 games by an average of 20 points per game, i wouldn't say those are routs!:yell:

While Ray has more than his share of turnovers, I think a better way to phrase this one might be...

"If people on the offense werent taking turns turning the ball over..."

I mean, Carter was responsable for 2, Ricky was responsible for 1 (actually it was the refs and that pathetic call, but Ricky got credited with it) Konrad was responsible for another... thats 4 turnovers in the last 2 games that can in no way be attributed to Lucas. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending him, just trying to remind us all that there is more than enough blame to go around during this little nightmare run we are having.
:fire: :fire: :fire:

For me, I think the coaches have no confidence in Lucas. I mean, who would doubt them if they didn't. Sure, the coaches say the right things and all to the press, but privatly they must be really pissed off and disappointed. If we don't turn this around there might be an * by the phins final record ...

*Feidler hurt, Lucas sucks!

It's not just Ray with the T/O's. Konrad and Carter don't lose fumbles early on Monday night, we might not get to Ray forcing the INT returned for the TD. And even though Ricky's "fumble" didn't look like one and looked like he maintained possession afterward, if he holds onto it in the first place, it doesn't become an issue and we likely score 7 there.

But it's obvious the game plan has been scaled back. In my never humble opinion, probably too far. I think it's got everyone, including Ray playing scared, or at least tentative. A sure cause of disaster.
