Getting rid of Damon Huard!! The guys ausome, I have watched both of his starts, hes a leader on the feild and has a good arm. He led the Cheifs to a big come back win yesterday, and is better than harrington! Sure his numbers were not amazing with is time here but he should have been given a better shot to show what he can do..the guy has a rating of 107 in kc

that was wannys first big blunder, handing the job to feebler
even after he was injured ALL pre season and promising
FAIR competition to huard.

the guy IS what wanny wanted. he could manage a game and
not make the huge mistake at the end of close games.

if we would have had him with ricky..... he shure the hell wouldnt
have thrown all those ints for pics and points that feebler was
plagued with.

god, that was years ago. he's an average starter. he looked pretty good against the cards, but nothing spectacular.

Uh, before this season, I believe he had less then 30 career TDs.

You call that awesome? When he's 33 yrs old?!!

I remeber watching Dan Marino on Inside the NFL right before the start of the 2000 season and he said that he couldn't believe Huard wasn't the starter after doing so well in his place. I don't think Huard would have gotten us a ring, but he would have been nice to have during the Ricky Williams years...and now!!!

So Huard wins one game and now he's the second coming ? Sure he had a nice game, but I don't think I'll start planning for his HOF induction yet.

There's a reason why he hasn't become a starter on any other teams.

Huard has played very good football for us. He has done everything you could ask for from a backup. Its not everyday that a career backup wins AFC Offensive player of the week is it? He's completing 70.2 percent of his passes, with five touchdowns and no interceptions, for an efficiency rating of 107.4. He's even had eight completions of 20 or more yards. Not bad. And he has done it for 3 games. He had his best game last week and played decent against the Broncos.

He is alot better than Fiedler, thats for sure.

LOL, Huard backed up Marino. When he filled in for Marino he was garbage.
