Miami has one spot open. If you had any say in the matter (no, seriously), who would you tell Ireland to sign? Me, I would prefer another rookie, but most would probably prefer a veteran. My initial choice would be Armond Armstead, the de/dt from USC who sat out last season due to some health issues. He is about the same size as Randall, the rookie out of Texas. It is interesting that he is still unsigned. Miami was at his pro day and he came to the Dolphins hq for a visit prior to the draft.

Anyway, who is your choice for that open spot?

might look at a guy like TJ. housh, or malcom kelly, maurice stovall, roy williams.... veteran WR's that could come pretty cheap. and give the new young guys an idea of how to be a professional.

e.j. henderson, ernie sims... a couple other guys that are probably low contract, low risk guys that could come in a compete for a spot.

have to dig a little deeper to give you a better opinion, thats just off the top of my head.

i think a mike backer would probly be best, we sure as hell dont need run down wrs like housh.

the best free-agent guard wouldn't be a bad idea or a safety. Those seem to be areas where we are a bit thin. I think wide reciever will take care of itself. We have alot of young guys and at least one or two should step up and be good players.

I would say a veteran safety, if available, who can still make plays and help mentor our young secondary. I think the coaches are hoping our young guys back there can hold their own with our new defensive scheme and it does help the Coyle's specialty is with the secondary.
