Despite the talk that no one wants to play in Miami, Garrard said he had a great time visiting with the Dolphins and was eager to sign.

“I just love the vibe,” Garrard said. “I love everybody’s mission and goal, and the purpose they have and the direction they’re heading.”In loving the Dolphins’ direction, Garrard is outside the norm in this NFL offseason.

Does he know something we don't...ask yourself and see if he's in a better position than you after just interviewing with the team..

Of course he enjoyed speaking with us, he is old, out of shape, with back problems and had zero interest around the NFL. It's like settling for the ugly chick in the Bar at the end of the night after striking out all night.

But everyone knows he would make an outstanding Mentor for a Rookie lol, hahahah

What does Garrard know? Ryan Clark and Joey Porter, who haven't had any contact with the front office in over two years knows more than Garrard who was in contact less than 24 hours ago. Porter and Crowder got cut because of big cap numbers and declining play, they are definitely not bitter.

This.

Well what is Garrard suppose to say? He is an aging QB who was forced out of Jacksonville because of injury. He is going to say all the right things. He wants a job as either a backup or a starter. Not saying everything is all bad in Miami but I take Garrards statements with a grain of salt...as well as I do with Joeys and Ryan Clarks.

Who PAYS you to take her home! :lol2:

I'd be pretty complimentary of the Dolphins too if they ever signed me to a contract. Especially considering I wouldn't be worth it, and they would be the only idiots to even offer me. Looks like me and Garrard have something in common!

My problem with that argument is that players around the league get cut all the time, yet you never hear them come out publicly blast the GM. So what has made 3 players now in the last 6 months come out and criticize Ireland and blame him for the teams woes?

Fact is Nubs, this is not a common situation. When it was just Crowder, you could pass it off to bitterness. But now we have two more in the last few days and at a time where the best QB we could bring in was Garrard after wiffing on Manning, Flynn and Smith. And Garrard wasn't excatly too excited to join the team last year either.

I dont care what peoples positions' on Ireland are, whether they like him or not. But to me, there is no smoke without fire.

And Clark had no reason at all to blast Ireland. He used Ireland to get a better contract with a superior organization. No bitterness.

People only believe it when it fits their agenda, Saying something positive does not fit the agenda of bashing Jeff Ireland and the Dolphins. Joey Porter, he is a trust worthy, team player -right? Crowder, just how many teams have brought him in? He could have signed early - nothing. Yeah, it's Ireland.

Now people are listening to what Joey Porter has to say.....wow...

Ireland's probably a jerk, sure. But it's pretty funny the way there's a sudden coordinated dogpile on him and suddenly he's the worst human being in the world and solely responsible for the Dolphins' troubles, and the sole reason we haven't been able to land those big names.

Yeah, because I'm sure the decision to publicly grope Harbaugh, Fisher and Manning was Ireland's call. That clearly fits with his tight-lipped, ******* MO.
